Well, the pool was down, my key card didn't work at all, had to go to the desk like 5 times. We were tired, hot and hungry. The A/C worked but was very noisy, so we didn't sleep well. Just a not nice relaxing overnight
-
Key system was down, pool was not functional, room had ants, they never bothered to clean our room take garbage or give us new towels, staff didn’t try to help us when we requested a different room.

Better quality breakfast
-
The pool wasn’t available for my stay I was given passes to go to another hotel that was miles away so the kids wasn’t able to swim and I thought my deluxe suite I thought it had 2 bathrooms and it didn’t
-
Pool was closed with a big health department sign on it.

Everything we needed. Spacious room. Pool not available but voucher given for pool at sister hotel. Lovely spacious room and great bed and bedding

Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. John who made the waffles was awesome! Pool was closed by state health board our entire stay and this is why we chose this hotel. Vouches were given for another property but with traffic it was 20 minutes away. Also, no mention of parking fee until we arrived and told it was $10 per night.

Breakfast server It was advertised with actively serving pool and just to figure out that the pool was out of service for weeks. My kids were very disappointed
-
I was able to check in early. No towel racks in the bathroom. Also housekeeping needs to be requested.
-
I didn't like having to pay a parking fee. I have stayed in the hotel before & never had to pay a parking fee.
-
The receptionist are never helpful and are disrespectful to guests.

The hotel was in an ideal location, as far as distance from both Dewey and Rehoboth Beach. However, at check in, Lindsay informed me that she didn’t charge me for parking but I thought parking was free. There were splashes of mold in the bathroom on the wall and possibly the ceiling in the room. The pool was out of service, which was something the kids were looking forward to. It was nice to have the voucher to use the sister hotel’s pool though. According to my family, the breakfast was subpar. The toddler only ate a fruit cup and she loves eggs and potatoes! There’s a weird smell in the hallway on the first floor, can’t quite describe it but it was unpleasant.

Employees were super friendly and helpful. Even sitting in the lobby in the morning and listening to them answer all kinds of guest inquiries - they were super helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was closed but they were offering pool passes for another site but you had to drive 10 minutes away.

We had to change rooms at check in because the first was so mildewy and gross, mold growing on the bed skirts and furniture. 2nd room was also bad but everything else was sold out, so we just went to Walmart and bought a whole bunch of lysol and febreeze to make it breathable. The couch was soooo gross, we also bought a blanket to cover that so we could actually sit on it, this blanket was left behind because there's no washing machine on earth that would make that blanket usable. Online pics are a real bait-and-switch situation. They asked us to put dirty linens in the hallway everyday to get washed, but they never replaced them, we had to go to the front desk to get new ones, which they didn't always have... not the staff's fault, apparently this is managements policy. Hotel pool eas shut down by the local health and code enforcement, but they offered passes to another hotel's pool about 2 miles up the road.

The location was perfect! Close to the house we rented for more family members.

The location of the hotel was perfect! My daughter and I enjoyed being able to walk to the beach located less than a mile, not to mention how close it is to restaurants. The staff was very kind, they had a smile on their faces, they were very welcoming. The famous chef, Mr. John brightened our mornings with selfless attitude as he cooked and served breakfast in the morning. He truly made the stay even more welcoming, they are very lucky to have him there. The only thing that surprised me was the $15 parking charge. The pool was a bit dirty. Overall our stay was the best! We highly recommend this place.
