Atlantic Oceanside Dewey

Place was great. Only issue was are room was never clean during our 4 night stay.

Vacationed to celebrate the 4th of July with my family. This is not a place for family's, it's absolutely a place for college kids to party. We were up all night as the other occupants were screaming and partying well past 3am. The staff did nothing about it. Besides that the room was Ill equipped for the 4 person occupancy we paid for. With 2 towels and one roll of toilet paper. The pillows were flat with no extra in the room. Anytime we tried to talk to staff the line was too long because they had one person working. We were close to the beach which was a plus and we had a great view of the Dewey beach fireworks from the upper Sun deck. But I wish we would have known ahead of time so we could have found a more family friendly hotel.

The hotel just seemed like it was being held together by glue and chewing gum. The bathrooms were outdated with cracks in the shower floor and just all around a low budget poorly maintained property that overcharges given the poor quality and just survives off of its location on the Dewey strip. I won’t be staying there again and wouldn’t recommend it.

I recommend you stay anywhere else.

Location TV didnt have regular channels

It is an older re-painted property. Quite modest but it gets the job done. We had one window that looked out to the parking lot. If u want a place to just go to sleep, with no frills except a small pool, this is it. Its clean and very basic and no reminder that you are by the ocean.

Dewey Beach is a party town and this hotel is in the middle of the party. This hotel and the adjacent sister hotel market themselves as "Block Party Resort". This is a motel with doors facing a busy street across from the bars and people partying outside of the bars. I made the mistake of staying on a Saturday night in their peak season. The noise from the bars and the street is very loud with people partying outside and motorcycles speeding by. At around 11:30 pm I called 911 because there was a drunk person banging on my door demanding to be let in. There are no peep holes on the doors and I never saw a motel security guard. My advice is to stay away from this property unless plan to join the party.

They recently started charging $15 for parking. I think that's ridiculous, if more than one vehicle sure. Sent an online check in which did nothing but had to do again anyway (waste of time). Long line to check in at 4pm could be better. Why not have the pre-check in work and send text when room is ready to pick up key or send key info to phone and no key card at all. Great location. Tight parking spaces. Clean and nice size rooms. Decent pools and outside showers. Great size refrigerator/freezer. Would be great if a second ice machine. And bathroom could have separated the toliet from sink area with a siding door as it looks like it should have been. Would stay again.

The hotel was okay, the room had way too much furniture me and my dogs could barely move. Other than that we had a great time! It was so close to the beach and you could walk to the other side to watch the sunset ill be back!

Exactly what I was expecting.

Walking distance to everywhere. Our tv didn’t work the whole time we were there.

Already submitted my terrible review and corporate gave me a refund for one night which is much appreciated but your team dropped the ball multiple times and our entire stay there our room was never cleaned once when I asked multiple times

Location Noisy kids… meaning drunk loud youngsters

this is the most convenient location you can choose from two pools. It is steps from the beach. so reasonable for this time of the season and never had to get in my car once

it was good

The only complaint I have is that I had to pay an additional $15 to park there when I was a registered guest. That's ridiculous.

Affordable clean basic accommodations, great location and convenient to everything. Would definitely stay there again.
