The breakfast was great! Many choices & staff very accommadating. Very clean though out hotel. We had the reservation on booking.com which showed a photo of the ocean and we were on the bayside though the ocean was 900 ft across the double road but very doable. I lost my key card, which they were sweethearts and gave me another key, no charge! But later found the key card in my bathing suit, crazy, right? About the first room, it was in the interior of the building with NO windows, we turned around and went back downstairs and they graciously gave us a 2 double bed without an extra charge. Fabulous and we could see the bay from the window.

We were in room 242, not really clean, there was alot of dirt under the bed, under the desk area there was garbage, just little pieces, but obviously not cleaned. The shower head was really poor, so small for such a large bathroom. No firepits as advertised. The front desk knew nothing about firepits. We could only use the indoor pool, that's poor. Would I stay here again, probably not and I love Hyatt. We paid a premium price during off season and didn't get premium.

The location was convenient and walkable. The hotel private beach was nice. Our room was on the lobby floor number 100, which would’ve been great if it wasn’t the last room in the hall by the service door entrance. That door had a giant push bar and within every five minutes staff was going through the door, sometimes talking very loudly and standing in front of our door to carry on their conversations. This started after 6 AM in the morning. Every time someone barged through that door, it sounded like someone was coming through our door. Very unsettling and there was no getting back to sleep after 6 AM. We also did not like the indoor pool. They should have put a pool outside on the large deck or even on the beach area. The indoor pool had no chairs or amenities.

The staff was nice but not friendly or inviting. Checking in was a bit confusing due to the how the entrance was formatted. You must park in the parking garage and pay $15 to park though there was street parking staff said it cause $30 dollars to park on the street which felt a little predatory. Once checked in and parking in the garage it was hard to find the elevator which lead us to enter through the residents entrance and walk through long hallways to find our room. The room was nicely decorated and spacious but not cleaned well. The floor was sticky and there were gnats everywhere in the room and hallways. I did mention this during checkout and they did comp the $15 parking fee which was nice. Another thing to know is the hotel is pet friendly so there can be a noise issue with dogs barking loudly. Additionally the indoor pool was dirty and poorly lit. Would not recommend using. They offer free breakfast which was okay and a nice perk.

Nice size room for the value. While the common areas were clean, cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Then there were the little brown flying bugs. Maybe because we were close to the water, but they were a constant nuisance. Overall, would not stay here again.

Some of the staff was very nice and accommodating. They checked us in 30 minutes late. The AC did not work and we told staff 3 different times. When they decided to fix it, we weren’t allowed in the room for the morning. Making our morning rough with 2 dogs and a toddler. One staff didn’t even acknowledge us or address the problem.
