Everything was very good. You could put in a towel rack. Maybe a small shelf in the bathroom.

Rooms are spacious, clean and great location! Andre the property manager was super helpful and friendly! Recommend you book your stay two thumbs up and a twist!

Very clean and modern. Walking distance to everything. Beach is beautiful. Lots of restaurants and music at night.

From the moment you arrive at the Surf Shanty, you can tell it's a well-kept establishment. Andre was so nice and helpful --he was always onsite and keeping the outdoor area clean. The rooms were clean and look exactly like the photos! There are ample towels and fun toiletries to try. I'm definitely buying the products! They were great. The beach is only a few steps away..a big plus! I loved everything about the Surf Shanty and will definitely return!

Andre is great and very helpful. The room was clean and the AC worked well. We love staying here each year and look forward to next year.

The Surf Shanty was a great place to stay! It was walking distance to all the best restaurants and bars. The hotel is cute and clean. Andre, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach and the bay.

Andre was great! He called me to find out when I would arrive since I was in traffic, waited for me and told me all the hot spots/food establishments. They had beach chairs/umbrellas to use if needed. I did not ride the bikes but it was there is needed. Room was very clean, beds comfy, loved the beekman 1802 shampoo and conditioner set especially after the beach it made hair nice and soft before heading out to dinner. Checkout was easy as well. I would visit more but it is not pet friendly which I need a majority of the time but I am looking g forward to staying again when I don’t have my dog and telling all friends a family to stay here if they are in Dewey. Hidden gem! Everything is close by and walking distance and just enough away from the loudness of the nightlife so you can get a peaceful sleep. Loved it can’t wait to go back!

We had a great stay at this adorable, well maintained shanty! You can tell a lot of pride is taken in keeping up the property. I'm a clean freak and I was very comfortable there. I would definitely recommend!

Perfect beach location .. walking distance to everything

The room and location were both great. The only issue I had was with the WIFI, which didn't work at all during my stay. I notified the staff and a technician did stop by (fixed TV), however, I was never able to connect any of my devices to the internet.

It was so amazing we extended our stay. The staff was extremely helpful in letting us extend our trip. The room was super clean, the parking was great. The motel is Oceanside so it was a two minute walk to the beach. Right in the center of Dewey so everything is walking distance. Highly recommend and definitely booking here again!!

Love this hotel. This is our third summer trip staying here. Rooms are super cute, clean and well decorated. Love being so close to the beach and there's restaurants literally right around the corner.

The rooms were very clean, and they gave you all the toiletries and towels you needed. The air conditioning was super cold, and the beds were some of the best I've used at a hotel. Andre was awesome; he gave us lots of great recommendations for around the area. I wish there was some sort of closet or more storage but if thats my only complaint then so be it. Please keep in mind there is no elevator, so anyone who has difficulty using the stairs should request the first floor. When I come back to the area, I will definitely be staying here again.
