Gold Leaf Hotel of Dewey - Rehoboth Beach

Love that it was next to beach and right in the middle of an active lifestyle for after hour beach time. Close to everything. Added plus was the parking garage. Must be a heavy sleeper as the nightlife will keep you up all night. But again....that's Dewey. Great place!

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff

Somewhat clean property. Just a hotel to sleep and shower in. Location is its only plus. Parking garage was too small and hard to park. Shower and beds were basic. I didn’t appreciate being put in the front of the parking lot on the first floor. Super noisy. Cleaning staff were friendly. Won’t be coming back to this location as it was overpriced like all the other hotels in the area for summer.

It’s a great location in dewey beach We walked to everything

We had a fourth floor room. Our door was right by the elevator and our car was nearby. This was really convenient. The roof top pool was a nice change up from the beach. The front desk greeter were wonderfully helpful. Our room service for cleaning was responsive to our needs...The bed was really comfortable. Having a small working fridge and microwave was helpful for a multi day stay. Free coffee available in the lobby was unexpected, and a big win in my eyes.

We were very happy with our accommodations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, shower was great and the air con worked well. In addition- it was really nice to have the free parking underneath the building which made our visit hassle free in that respect. The location was great too as there were a ton of restaurants to walk to. My only comment is that the place is a bit outdated and could use a refresh.

Very short walk to the beach! Staff were friendly and room was super nice. We had the 3 bed and worked well for us for a 2 night stay! 2 adults and 3 elementary age girls. Pool was also great! Stocked vending machines and great restaurants all around!

The check in process was easy, the staff was great, our room was clean and the big plus, we were right next to the beach.

Great location and amenities. Close to the beach

For moms who use strollers, it is not stroller friendly if you park in the third or fourth floors, we had to go up a few stairs with a baby in the stroller. Staff was great though. Another thing was the room we stayed in, the carpet was so dirty, I had to put socks on the kids and the socks were filthy before it was time for bed. Location wise, it is easy access to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants that are close.

parking was secure AC worked well The only issue was when I entered the pool a man was splshing in the shallow end. I thought maybe he had had too much to drink. However when he exited pool the man was bleeding into the pool and all over the deck area.I directed him to the first aid kit and jumpoed out of the pool. I did report it and a worker came to clean it up but it was very upsetting. We had planned to use the pool the whole weekend we were there and II was so grossed out I couldn't use it.

Everything was good overall. Shower could be improved by better shower curtains. If you dont have the curtain sealed perfectly water gets all over the bathroom floor.

This hotel was in a great location only a block from the beach, surrounded by restaurants at walking distance. Rooms were large and the shower pressure was great. Staff were very nice. Parking was inside a covered garage and free. We will definitely be back.

Air conditioning was awesome

We’ve been staying at Gold Leaf for the last decade, off and on. Nothing has really changed. Front desk staff are always pleasant. The pool is really why we stay there for the kids. And you can’t beat the price. It’s so close to the beach and you can walk to all dining options. The rooms have all you need, beds and bathroom and we love that we can open the doors to let fresh air in. The only con is the other guests who can be quite rude. Screaming and running through the halls at 2 am….only downfall. Bring a sound machine to sleep!!

Clean, roomy hotel room. Extremely accommodating for mobility needs. Room had true blackout curtains, which was amazing an absolute must for the location. The room was nearly soundproof too, even for being right across from the elevator. Happy to have had a pool too! Great hotel!
