The codes to the doors frequently malfunctioned. No one working in premises to help. Everything done via text or phone call. Although, the girl who responded was quite helpful. Probably would not stay here again.

Only thing motel has going for itself is location. AC was subpar on the hottest days of the year around 100 degrees. Rooms need some updating. Overall property is really beat down. Parking is impossible. Very small spots and everyone has a huge truck. The employees park in the spots for guests so it limits parking even more. On our last morning someone was screaming at 5 am. Overall, would not stay here again.

The location of this hotel was fantastic. My girl and I were able to walk to the beach or any restaurants that we had planned for the weekend. Fireworks were super easy to walk and see during Fourth of July. The only downside was there is no human interaction upon check-in. It is fully autonomous and you’re sent a code via email when your room is ready. This wasn’t a downside. It was just more of a different experience. Overall, definitely will book again in the future. I recommend bringing your own water and cooler. Parking was always available. Air-conditioning was decent. I think it was just extremely hot during the time we went so there wasn’t much you could do without central air. The room was clean when we got in there. Sand was still on the floor is a little bit, but that wasn’t too bad at all.

This hotel was reasonably priced in a good location near the beach and downtown attractions. Unfortunately I cannot give it a positive rating because the air conditioning unit was so loud we had difficulty sleeping. Additionally the mattress had a depression in it so large that my wife had trouble getting out of the bed. She literally had to climb out of a hole. I hope that management will replace the mattress and repair the air condition for future guests. The lack of an on-site office made the issues worse since I was unable to talk to anyone about our concerns.

We have been staying at the Crosswinds for many years and believe it to be the best value in Rehoboth. Seems to be under new ownership and while they are fine-tuning the operations, their commitment to customer satisfaction is stellar.

Clean, spacious room. Plenty of parking. Convenient to the beach.

Clean Room, Nice Staff, Difficult with no microwave, some difficulty with getting into the room.
-
There was no staff onsite but they always answered the phone and we were able to get our questions answered.

Our AC was set at 61 and the room never warmed up. No extra blankets. The rooms is small, bare bones but very clean. The bed is incredibly comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay! The check in was super easy and the staff were very friendly! The room was great! We will stay again in the future!

That said, for the price, I expected a better experience. Since the property uses self check-in, our check-in took over an hour because the electronic door lock had a dead battery. When the maintenance person arrived, he realized he needed to leave to get replacement batteries, which made the delay even longer. We were excited to get to the beach, so it was a frustrating way to start our vacation. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues during our stay. The TV remote also had dead batteries, the TV barely worked, the air conditioning didn’t cool the room properly, and the hot water wasn’t working consistently. Overall, the location and family-friendly atmosphere were great, but the maintenance issues and delayed check-in made the stay disappointing. With better upkeep and attention to these details, this could be a much better place to stay.

clean room, good location.

The hotel's location was another big plus. Its proximity (directly next door) to Dogfish Head was a nice bonus and made it easy to walk over and enjoy great food and drinks without having to drive. Overall, it was a comfortable, convenient stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

We had difficulties that I won’t go into, but I will repeat- there is no front desk. Everything is done by tech. After 30 min of frustration we walked into our room - it was freezing. The AC was set at 61. (82 outside). We turned it off and had no need to turn it back on. The floors were cold. No rugs. No extra blankets. Very small room. The biggest plus was the mattress was exceptional. Wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

Crosswinds was exactly what I needed for my Rehoboth trip. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it’s in a great spot near the beach, shops, and the main strip. The air conditioning was amazing after being out all day. I really just needed a comfortable place to crash, and this worked out perfectly. Access to the sister hotel’s pool was a nice plus too. Great value and I’d stay again.

Clean and modern room… great location to beach and shops and restaurants!

Stay was good. Room was clean. AC was loud, Outside stairwell (one near the blvd) needed cleaned as someone must have had an accident on the stairs. Check in was all done over email, so I did not have any in person interaction with any employees. Location was great.

Nice and clean room. Minor complaint was all coffee was decaf and no soap bars. Nice room though.

Aside from that the room was really nice. The shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. The location was ideal because you’re close to the boardwalk and you’re right next to a restaurant where you can get good pizza. The only super annoying thing was the ice machine not working. We texted the help number and they gave us ice, but it did not get fixed while we were there. I think on the last day when I had pressed the button it was finally on. I wonder if it was because it was not like peak summer season but we were still going to the beach and would’ve appreciated ice for our mini cooler. All in All I highly recommend staying here. It’s very cost-effective and a great location. We will be staying here again next year.

Had no idea the check in Was going to be completely remote until We arrived and spoke with another traveler also trying to check In with an office that wasn’t open or manned. Just a note. After finally checking in … there was a generic welcome Letter with the TV remote. A parking pass was mentioned in this welcome letter but none found. The TV didn’t work either. Tried calling the telephone number listed with no response. Room was clean and basic and the property located Within walking distance of Main Street. This was our first stay here and will be our last.
