Unique older but well maintained hotel. Secure and walking distance to river and downtown. Amenities in 7th floor pool table, swimming pool and small gym.

Staff was friendly. Access to good food across the street was awesome. Bike rides along the Merced River were a mainstay of my experience. Morning view of the sunrise was the best. Thank you.

I had some concerns as this is an older facility but has been maintained reasonably well. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Great walkable downtown location for the price. If you don’t require new and glitzy it very good value.

Don’t be put off by the funky outdated decor! This place is very clean, quiet, has a great pool and helpful staff. It’s a great value and is right next to the Riverwalk.

We will be back. There is no casino on the premises. I think that is a positive.

Lovely room in an interesting building very well equipped and comfortable. A short walk to a very nice river side park with a concert going on. Very nice experience

This property is very close to the riverwalk and the pool is continently indoors with a sun deck for those that want to catch rays. The room was spacious and the pillows were the best!

Room was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Property a little dated but had a warm feel to it. Enjoyed very much.

We love staying at the Plaza. We love the ambiance and feeling it brings. It is retro and takes you back to the past. It is least clean and the staff is super friendly. It is close to the river and all the downtown casinos. It is definitely one of our faves.

Surprised at this gem in Reno. Close enough to walk the river walk and to get to casinos. Clean hotel. Helpful staff. Definitely our go to stay in reno. Still was loud with motorcycles and hot rods driving around at night

Good location when visiting Reno

This is a little golden gem! Older yes, but clean, non smoking, and we loved the bar and coffee machine. The pool is only 4’ deep, but my friends loved it and the outside! Only complicated part is the parking as its very tight, and one lane. The room was excellent and comfy. Will definitely stay here again, but bring my car vs my full size truck.

Nice sun roof area and pool area. But my lack of sleep prevents me from a higher ranked review. The elevator was loudest ever experience and so old school clunky that can be heard in any room. Changing rooms would have mattered not. I just can't sleep with ear plugs as don't feel safe or in control in case an emergency. So I slept little as a big hotel and many stay up to wee hrs and to yes use elevator at crazy times than the norm. Barely slept at all last night as my Lyft ride to get me at 4 am. So just to keep this in mind. Ear plugs good for here but I can't sleep to those. I just like a nice running fan noise.

It was nice, besides the low ceiling parking. We had a truck and it was to close to the ceiling. Other than that, it’s was nice piece and stuff were great.

Loved the greetings from Mike and the exceptional care he had for me and my daughter.
