Dirty rooms with mold and hair in the bathroom, blood on mattresses. Not cleaned

Honestly this place needs a through cleaning, there’s mold on the ceiling and the bathroom door was broken. The sink and toilet were absolutely disgusting

Nothing in particular except that is was fairly close to our destination. (1) No breakfast of any kind whatsoever, not even the bare miniumum of something to eat in the early morning. We had to go out to buy someplace to eat. (2) Coffee wasn't available until 8:30 a.m. which is a few hours after we had planned to wake up. We had to go out to buy coffee elsewhere. Staff was polite and friendly enough, but these two matters do not encourage us to stay at the Capital Inn & Suites again.

Airconditioning worked perfectly and the staff clean the room everyday

There on work travel and the staff is great!

I selected this property based upon proximity to Amtrak station in Rensselaer. It's a little dated, but it had a comfortable bed and a shower with great water pressure, all 15 minutes from the station. Price was right too.

This place was disgusting. Any of the 5 star reviews are from bots.

The room was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The towels were clean, there was soap and shampoo. The furniture was okay in the room. The swing arm door lock didn't work, and the bolt lock was also not working. The ice machine was not working. The coffee in the lobby was okay, but they didn't have milk or creamer, just that powder stuff. They had a setup for pastries, but no pastries. I don't know if breakfast was supposed to be included or not. There was ample parking. The guy at the front counter could not be less interested in interacting with customers. When I showed him the picture of the swing arm lock which was visibly broken, he literally shrugged. Mumbled something about maintaince man to look at it.

Maintenance of room was "ok" at best.

This hotel is dirty and literally falling apart. Tv falling off the wall, toilet loose and tippy. Stains everywhere and the furniture looks like it was sourced at a dump.

I stay every year. Never had any issues with staff or room

The ice machine was broken. The TV was lopsided on the wall. The sofa cushions didn't fit . The toilet was not attached to the floor.

Bare bones accommodation.

Surprisingly poorly maintained room!

Inexpensive and furniture and bathroom in disrepair. Bad odor and useful that could open the windows. Not good soundproofing. No real blankets on the bed. The first room that was assigned to was supposedly a non-smoking room and it reeked of cigarettes and the couch cushion was slashed. We were able to get a different room which was better.
