Comfort Inn & Suites Rifle

It was good

You get good quality for the price when compared to prices in Glenwood Springs. Rifle had a good Italian restruant with very good pizza.

A quick overnight stay. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast better than most other free breakfasts. Good shower.

We have stayed here many times and keep coming back. Unfortunately, this trip, the room AC was not working well. I'm sure we'll still come back.

The breakfasts both days were the best I have found at hotels. Good quality food and variety, and the staff kept everything replenished. If I ever get back to Rifle, I would definitely stay there! My only concern was the bed pillows which were small and felt like a bag of rags.

Very well maintained and lots of parking

The nice desk attendant came out to help us find parking. We had a trailer attached to our camper. The lot was filled to their compacity. She did her best, but we ended up parking outside the lot on the street.

We were placed next to someone who apparently was a resident. We had a connecting door and could hear talking and music. Luckily it stopped by 11 pm.

I've stayed at this property for the past 15 years. Although this property has always been my firstchoice, and even recommending it as recently as ladt month, I will not return. I appreciate the check-out conversation this morning (8/13/26). The clerk was professional, easy to talk to, and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The AC system worked well. And I appreciated a quality TV with free channels. The rest is down hill. When I arrived at 6:30 PM on 8/12/26, another guest and I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone was there to help. No welcoming comment or apology. There was no welcoming comment or apology. When I questioned the rate - more than what I was quoted when I booked through Hotels.com, the woman flatly said she couldn't help me with a 3rd party reservation. After a follow-up, she again said it wasn't her issue she could help with. I didn't have a printout copy of my reservation. I finally stopped her repeated comments by saying I wasn't going to argue with her. Without stating a room preference, she gave me Room 230 which is at the end of the hall from the elevator, directly across the hall from the maintenance shed. I refer to it this way, because the door was left open, showing the equivalent of a disaster garage. When I opened the door I was startled to see a young man in my room, with no credentials. The room was dark, and he said he was the mtc man fixing a spill. Clearly sleeping in my room. Very didturbing!

We just stopped by Rifle for a single night stay on our way to Montrose. Our room was nice and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located to food and Tesla supercharger station.

The staff was wonderful! Our check in girl was so amazing!!! The breakfast lady was great! And you can tell the hotel has some updating done but my room was so dirty that if I hadn't been exhausted I might have left... dog hair or pet hair all over the chair, I'm allergic so my morning was filled with sneezing because I didn't expect to have pet hair... my mirror had such a layer of dust you couldn't see good, hair in tub, hair on toilet, sticky residue on nightstand.... comforter had a huge hole in it and it smelled in there. Not sure i would give this place another stay sadly.

Nice clean and spacious room very enjoyable

The hotel was clean felt safe nice room and a great breakfast. Yes if and we do our next trip Comfort inn would be our choice.
