J House Greenwich

As a frequent traveler, this was the worst hotel experience I've had by far. We asked for a quiet room, but were placed by the pool with loud music. Luckily that ended at 7, but we returned to the room to find extremely loud and offensive music playing from a wedding at the hotel, whose doors were open just steps from our room. Pounding music from 9pm to midnight after calling and being assured it would end at 10. That's not to mention black mold in the shower and the floor was dirty. Staff were generally confused and unhelpful. The desk seemed surprised about the wedding and said this was not their usual experience. He could not explain the mold and dirty floor. We have pictures the mold and dirt and video of the party next to our room and expect a full refund. Because we booked via Booking, they said they could not provide one.

And free valet too! And nice and quiet! A great stay.

Second time staying here. 36 minute drive to the Bronx Zoo. Modern, clean room. Super friendly staff. Awesome pool. Definitely recommend.

Room was spotless and staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was limited in options but more available for purchase. Pool was well maintained and perfect temp with decent seating outside.

The J House is exceptionally located for visits north to Norwalk, south to Greenwich, west to friends and family in Westchester Co. NY and a quick hop on to I-95 to New York. If you like Italian, it's Tony's in the hotel! The Sunday brunch is excellent. This is a dog friendly hotel with exceptionally friendly and attentive staff for you and your pet. The rooms are well provisioned and very clean ... and if you haven't experienced a Japanese-style toilet ... well !!! Know that it is also a hot spot for its bar, receptions, birthday parties and other group events. Absolutely nothing. All our stays over the years (up visiting family and friends) have been a joy staying at the J House.

Quick and easy check in. Hotel located on main road near I-95. Friendly staff, nice outdoor pool, delicious restaurnt on site.

The young lady was extremely courteous and pleasant when I arrived. She made sure I had all the information on how to use the prigrams for lighting etc.

Exceptional

Would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale hotel with an upscale restaurant. Every since staff member was friendly and provided exceptional service. Was never made to feel out of place or looked down on being surrounded by wealthy people or having a retired pro baseball star in the lounge chair next to me. Lol...One of my top 3 hotel experiences.
