The hotel was being under renovation but they started from 8am!!!! Ridiculous!! Towels were not so clean!
-
great place and staff
-
Some staff tend to be rude . Elevator want working had to walk about 3 flights to parking garage. Ridiculous parking fee although parking is at hotel.

Terrible room and service was sub par!

Location is great as it’s near the Stamford train station and we were able to walk there. The building is very rundown and has not been well maintained. Construction noises every morning which was not disclosed on their webpage. The ceiling of the indoor pool was leaking and the pool was rusted ect. Hotel room felt damp down to the carpet. Our towels never once dried when we hung them up. They charge $25 a day for parking which is crazy. I had to ask them to empty out the parking garage trash cans as they were overflowing and stinky. No continental breakfast which would have been nice. Overall our stay was just meh. Probably will stay elsewhere next time.

Checked in late and the front desk person wasn’t very helpful with questions I had and it felt like he was annoyed by being asked them. The room wasn’t great. There were random stains on the wall carpet. Wouldn’t stay here again

The staff ate very friendly and attentive.

Great hotel, spacious and super clean room and bathroom. Quiet location and a beautiful view. Very friendly staff.

Fantastic hotel. Carpets in the hallways need a clean but apart from that. Fantastic. Comfy beds free water. Good breakfast virtually waited on. Would recommend

Nice easy sport to get in and out of by Lawrenceville

Except when I attempted to get into my room later that evening, I was locked out. The lock did not work, again. It was late and I needed to go to bed. They opened my door and offered to move me at about 1am. I declined. It was a very long, chasing weekend of moving rooms, finding the bathrooms of each pretty disgusting, one of my beds (I’ve lost track of which room) had those little elastics that go on braces in the sheets!

Pleasant breakfast crew that were very helpful. Were not told about the pool or other amenities when checking in and seemed we were bothering him. He did not care that we paid extra for a higher floor and view. Was told it was because we used hotels.com. Do not pay extra for a better view. You will get air conditioning units on the roof.

Not clean, stains on carpet and drapes, hair in drain, outdated, under construction in 2.5 star quality at the moment, the worse quality Doubletree I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast was incredible, staff was friendly and helpful Paying for parking not so good

Lobby is nice but rooms are old and beat up. My first room smelled so strongly of some type of cleaner, I had to be moved. Windows were filthy, cabinets in the bathroom were falling apart, carpets were coming up. Not only did I spend $500 for 2 rooms, for 1 night- we had to each pay $25 to park. Had I known better, I wouldn’t have paid $100 to stay here. The front desk guy had no personality what so ever. Parking garage is poorly lit- glad I wasn’t traveling alone. I normally only write reviews when they are positive but wanted others to be aware before they spend an obscene amount of money to be disappointed.

The hotel was easily accessible and fit our needs for a sports tournament. Concierge was very pleasant and helpful. Room service was confusing. The policy is that you pick it up at the hotel restaurant or state otherwise. We assumed room service meant, well, room service. In their defense, their clientele for the weekend was a bunch of youth boys' sports teams.

Parking is separate and they charge per night. Room was expensive to not have a microwave in the room. At least the cookies they give you are good. Upscale look, very basic rooms.
