Very convenient location. Close to 95 and the Stamford train station. Elevator had a very bad odor. Beds were comfortable. Check-in staff was neutral and not super welcoming. Breakfast was pitiful. Just cereal, bread, and waffle. The cornflakes marked as frosted flakes.

MGR ANOK and his staff are simply wonderful! I arrived there at nearly midnight as an EMS walk-in. NOR, one of the SUPER 8 desk clerks, immediately came to my aid, given that my frantically made online booking was for the the Wrong Date. He said no problem and fully refunded my stay. Then accepted CASH for my stay at the SAME online savings RATE!! Moving forward, IRMAN, another front desk host, has never failed to accommodate my early check-ins. This entire staff, including housekeeping, is Always cordial. I've stayed there more than 4 times and am going back at the end of this week. It is a very nice feeling to walk into an establishment that appreciates you and your business. Being greeted not merely with a smile but addressed by My Name. It means all the difference in the world to me. Hospitality industry-wise, this particular Stamford, CT SUPER 8 stands alone and in a class of its own.

A good property on a budget.

Room has worn. Many stains on the walls. Chairs, floor.

Not much to like, if I'm being honest. There was way too much "activity" in the parking lot when we arrived. Parking was suspect with all the "guests" running around. The whole property, except thankfully our room, smelled of weed. The hotel staff were rude, non English understanding and blocking the elevator with their carts. According to the sign in the lobby, breakfast was supposed to end at 10AM, the staff was putting everything away at 9:30AM. We weren't able to sleep well at all. I'm very disappointed that a Wyndam property is allowed to operate like that. And the "value" wasn't really there.
