The Singer Oceanfront Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

Were told our dog could go on the beach we called twice to confirm, then when we got there it was a hard “no”. Checking in was a joke, the girls couldn’t stop talking and cackling long enough for us to even know our room #. To be honest we have stayed at Microtel Motels that far exceeded this for much cheaper! Thankfully it was only one night!

Nice and clean and it’s by everything

From the moment we pulled up, from the valet attendant to the front desk check in with Ray was wonderful. We were needing a place last minute due to plumbing issue at our condo in North Palm leaving us upset and distraught. The resort was beautiful, welcoming and relaxing. Thank you Ray for being so kind and helpful during our stay. We will highly recommend for others visiting the Palm Beach area. Singer is a gem.

Room view was great for looking at ocean and back to mainland.Nice chairs and umbrellas on beach maid took care of us very nice and friendly.Only thing is no real breakfast restaurants close by hotels was kind of spendy but you expect it at a nice hotel over all great place.

I feel this was a bait and switch. Our balcony and view were nothing like what they showed in the pictures. We paid for a double queen, oceanfront room which we were very disappointed with. It was on the second floor and had a 4 foot wall on the balcony so you could not see the ocean unless you were standing up in the room. Also, it was right over the outside bar roof. In addition, the balcony held water with a lot of black mold on the concrete so we were uncomfortable going out there. I don’t feel that it should be the same price as the other oceanfront rooms that are higher up. They all had see-through balconies. Only two rooms have the concrete wall and they are on the second floor. Another item was the coffee maker in the room. It had mold and debris where you pour the water in and I was not able to clean it out.

Also need to mention Amabel (hope I spelt that correctly), who was everything you would hope for in a bar man...worldly wise and funny. Excellent clean and relaxed hotel.

Exceptional

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However we arrived the hotel a bit late (quarter after 5pm), most of the beach service were no longer available, which is a bit disappointing. The beach itself wasn’t the best, so if you are looking for some nice beach, this may not be the best choice.

Also o paid a good amount of money to book the ocean front balcony the price on hotels.com said with tax and fees total.. but when I got there I was told it would be $37 a day for resort fees and another $35 a day to park! Very disappointed with that.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The beach access and amenities were unique (although the kayak is bound to the water flag) , and the resort was clean and well organized. The only issue was a clogged bathtub, which took about five hours to resolve because the ladies up front took us for granted until the manager got involved (which he was very effective). Overall, we had a good experience and would return. A continental breakfast, even for a small additional fee, would make the stay even better, and more options for a quick bite.
