Super 8 by Wyndham Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

When I arrived to my room, it was about 90° in there, and I went to turn the AC unit on and the light was on to change filter.As the plastic cover was broke, I removed the filter and cleaned it.Reinstalled it. I let the lady at the front desk know about it.And I told her I took kleenex and folded it up in wedged it in the cover to hold it in place

Stairs were a little dirty. Breakfast was great. Next to a Walmart which was good for me.

Room was otherwise clean and things were in working order. Restroom walls around the toilet could use a scrubbing. Coffee in the breakfast area was delicious and the continental breakfast was standard with small muffins, juice, cereal, and a waffle maker. Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we needed a budget place to lay our heads down for the night, and that's what we got. I will stay here again if I have similar needs in the future.

The room had a bit of odor that I did not like, but got used to. Clean room. Nice shower and bath area. Good breakfast. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Good price.

There’sno protein at breakfast though.

Very good helpful staff and nice- clean room. Only down thing was door card was challenging getting in from parking lot

The beds & pillows were uncomfortable. There was moldy grout around soap holder and corners of shower. Hallway had an unusual smell. We had trouble opening the door with the key cards - it was a different (old) type iof key cards lock. Woman at the desk seemed irritated that she gad to come help us. No concrete sidewalk to enter - crumbling tar slanted walk up to door either sign that says slippery when wet. I would not stay there again & don’t recommend.

The lobby was nicely updated, but our room was really old and dingy. The curtain was coming off of the curtain rod. The parking lot is in bad shape. I have been in much nicer Super 8 hotels. This one is in serious need of updating.

Breakfast was great!

Nice place to stay. Very good customer service. Lite breakfast. Good parking. Clean. Always stay here, very close to doctor office and hospital.

Absolutely disgusting

The lobby smelled like smoke when I walked it but fortunately my room did not. For the low rate I paid I wasn’t at all surprised to see the hotel was dated and some fixtures were worn. I was very surprised at how dirty the room was. I know housekeeping staff is usually given an inadequate amount of time to clean but no one tried very hard to get this room clean. Brown smears of dried gunk on a light colored wall is something anyone can easily see. Blood droplets on the bathroom wall along with dried white lotion (at least I hope it was lotion) on either side of the bathroom door. There was also mold in the shower that someone tried to just caulk over. The vent fan in the bathroom probably hasn’t been cleaned in a year or two. Lots of other stains and miscellaneous grime . I realized if I asked for another room I’d probably get another dirty room so I purchased some cleaning products and cleaned the place myself before I took a shower.

Always friendly and clean!

The room was ok, excellent location. Upon ck in, rude,obnoxious, ck out, no smile, no thank you, no have a nice day. Find employees that like people and enjoy their jobs. 1st and last impressions are everything.

This is an older hotel, but the rooms amenities and cleanliness, and staff made it worth the stay. We will return if there is ever a need.

The only reason I settled for a score of three versus four; outside our hotel window was a car. This car had an alarm. Every fifteen minutes the alarm on the car would go off. Kept me awake most of the evening.

Plenty of light in the room especially for older people who have trouble seeing. Staff was great and this is the 1st place that carried sugar free syrup which helps especially if you're diabetic.
