Great communication with staff and a friendly shuttle over to Mayo Gonda. Apartment was squeaky clean.

The ambiance, location, staff were all fantastic! The room was very clean and well setup. We liked everything except for the chairs in front of the tv. We would have preferred something a little more comfortable, preferably a small couch or a chair one can sink into.

This is one of the nicest, cleanest hotels that I've stayed in. The one bedroom suites are perfect

Excellent service and wonderful room!

Nice property.

Very nice experience. Would return for sure

This was a very nice hotel located in downtown. It’s directly across from Mayo. The concierge checked each guest in and very helpful. This nice touch made the experience extra special.
-
All in all, we would find another option for our next stay.

The Berkman is a best-kept secret. It's like staying at a 5-star hotel for an incredibly reasonable price. The 4th floor game room and lounge is awesome and the pool is a welcome bonus. We loved our stay!

Good stuff

The Berkman is where we stay when we are in Rochester. Good location near St Mary's Hospital and easy shuttles to Mayo. Great food near by and wonderful amenities at the hotel. Beds are comfortable and there is a washer and dryer in each room.

Amenities were great with a nice common room, outdoor space, office space, gym, etc.
-
Wonderful property with a few caveats. The amenities are great, and the location is ideal for St Mary’s. The apartment is large and parking safe and easy. That said, the bed is very hard and pillows aren’t great. The vents also hit directly on your face in the bed, so that was hard to get used to. I would stay again but only if I brought my own pillows and blankets

It was so quiet! You could walk around the 4th floor pool area and look at the city below. The hospital is right across the street and easy to get to even with the construction. The door that led to the pool wouldn't lock... it made me a little nervous. The king bed in the master room was not as nice as the guest bed. I didn't have any issues with the bed but my husband said he couldnt sleep well in it.

Absolutely beautiful property with great amenities...perfect for a 10 day stay, with everything you need to be self-sustained. Excellent dining choices very close like the Red Cow and the Canadian Honker restaurants...St Mary's Mayo is directly across the street with an active Shuttle to the other Mayo locations. This stay put my wife at ease during our visit. Such great staff, too. Thank you Nicole!

Great for Mayo and people with pets!

I was upgraded and it was spacious and clean. No snacks, wasn't told pool couldn't be used and have to requesting a later check out and getting it approved One minute before we even checked out we had two cleaning people waiting right at our door and we're locked out and had forgotten a bag and it just made the whole process more anxious.

We liked the proximity to St Mary’s . For what they charge for a nights stay you’d would think parking would be included. The bed was terrible, I had such a back ache , the Doctors at St Mary’s had to give me some pain medication before my procedure even started. Room reminded me of a hotel room I had in Saigon 60 years ago. The interior just seemed cold . With that being said, I don’t think we would Book with them again.

The kitchen setup and laundry setup was excellent. The bathroom vent fan did not operate. The 2 chair setup for television viewing was small and uncomfortable. As well as there was no setup for a cup of coffee while watching tv. The location of television and the limited wall cable length restricted the ability to position the tv screen to enable viewing from the bed. The bed mattress was very firm. The location of the hotel to the hospital is excellent.

Cons: Room VERY basic. 1 nightstand/lamp; no table for dining. Cheap furniture, average comfort queen bed; bathroom not close to bedroom. No tv streaming option; limited thermostat control.
