Baymont by Wyndham Rockford

I had such a nice stay! (2 nights). The front desk crew was fantastic, my king room was VERY clean (and that bed is so comfy) and it was easy to find with plenty of parking. My only issue was the shower. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure…but the tub was so incredibly slippery that I had to put a towel down and stand on it. It’s dangerous. Highly recommend they work on that. Would absolutely stay again if I’m ever back in Rockford!

Amber and the staff helped so much with my grandmother. This is the most hospitable staff I have ever experienced . We’re from Atlanta and I almost switched our hotel and I’m so glad I didn’t. If I ever have to come back to Rockford this is where we are staying. Thanks again!!!

One thing that really stood out was the breakfast. They offered a nice variety of options, including choices for guests with dietary restrictions. I especially appreciated that they had gluten-free waffles and sugar-free syrup available, which isn’t something you find at every hotel. It showed that they had put thought into accommodating different guests’ needs. Overall, it was a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, and we left with a very positive impression. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place to stay.

This was a nice place to stay close to the highway. It was very clean and the staff were very kind.

Everything was good. Clean, convenient, well maintained. The one negative, as I see it, is that they charge you for a $100 deposit which is refundable, but can take up to 30 days. This is supposedly to cover any damage you may cause. In my opinion, this is just a way to make extra interest on money held for 30 days.

All was fine, except this room carpeting was very dirty. Tile floor was clean. Rest of stay was fine.

Rooms were clean, towels were soft. My kids enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the indoor pool.

Location and price! The room had a musty smell when we first got there, but after about 2 hours with AC on it as fine.

The parking lot was pretty lousy…beaten up a bit. Makes your initial impression a little scary. The BP at the corner needs updating…makes the area look sketchy at first glance. But other than that was just great.

Rather unwelcoming staff at check in, but room was comfortable and good bathroom area with good lighting. Breakfast was just so-so with juice machine out of order. After a long day of travel, it would have been nice to be greeted with a smile at check in rather than get the feeling it was a chore checking someone in.

Clean Nothing

Overall good experience. The employees were very nice, friendly, efficient. Breakfast was lackluster, but fine. There were egg bites you could heat up in the microwave, yogurt, waffle makers, toast and bagels with spreads. My sister and I thought the coffee didn’t taste very good and was pretty weak. My niece liked it though. Our biggest concern was the tub was slippery for our first showers, but seemed to settle down after that. We elected to forgo daily maid service and we think maybe cleaner wasn’t rinsed properly or something. The second day it seemed normal. We did not say anything to the staff, but probably should have. The pool is a nice break after busy days- small, indoor and worked for our needs.
