Clean and comfortable

The staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the floors were filthy and the hotel needs updated. Breakfast was very disappointing also. There was no hot food other than some waffle makers. If you’re looking in the Rockford area, I recommend looking somewhere else.

The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good and staff were very nice!

Complemetary breakfast was above average for this hotel level. The kitchen had made egg bites-- a great alternative to hard boiled eggs. Easy to manage and heat. Better tasting than many hotels scrambled eggs in the chafing dish and they didn't result a lot of plastic trash, which we appreciated.

Housekeeping was superb! Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast options were somewhat limited. Our only concern was lack of hot water.

Room was not cleaned up on a daily basis. Glasses for drinking should be provided instead of paper cups. Hotel should have provided more handicapped accessible showers than only one. Breakfast area should not shut down until fifteen minutes before time is up. Rooms should have more drawer space.

If I’m overnighting in Rockford again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great location.

Breakfast needs to be on par with the rest of the hotels at the same price. You should have scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.

The hotel was okay there isn't really hot breakfast other than waffles. The rooms could be cleaner and the showers could have been less slippery

Very Clean place

Terrible. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the staff. With that said however I have no idea how this hotel has a 9.0 rating. My wife and I were looking for a hotel close to the Hard Rock for a show. We looked at several in the area and saw Baymont had a 9.0 rating and the pictures looked good. So we went ahead and booked. Walking in to check in there was a used condom 20 ft from the lobby doors in the entry way (god I hope I can upload pics). After getting to our room we knew we screws up right away. The room was much smaller the pictures, much like the pics of the front of the hotel. Which doesnt show the multiple drug addicts in the parking lot walking to or from your car or the abandoned falling apart gas station next door. I’m sure there’s no way to get a refund, otherwise we woulda gone down the street someplace else. There was hair on the shower wall and the shampoo bottle still (again, hope I can upload pics) and the shower drain drained so slow you were allowed to marinate in the grossness. And the drapes had brown stains in them and then paint? Solatter at the top? It was disgusting. Compared to the hotels in the area we felt for the money we were paying for the night we weren’t getting a ritz but certainly didn’t expect a motel experience either. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Hot garbage.

We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. It was an excellent value!

Is gross and run down!

shower had no non-skid on bottom - had to ask for a mat to place in bottom of shower to keep from falling. very slippery. should be automatic. not available upon request!

Nice location for us. Right next to the interstate on/off ramp. Also very close to many good places to eat.

It was very clean, and that is what I look for. Staff were freindly.
