DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma - Wine Country

We stay here to visit Bodega Bay and the coast about 45 minutes away. It has a nice outdoor patio, pool, and hot tub that are typically not too busy. Rooms are clean and the rooms we've stayed in have a deck or patio shared with neighboring rooms.

Jenny at the front desk was horribly useless. Told her we were checking in for 2 rooms for 2 different first names and the same last names (hmm maybe needs further investigation to see if there’s more than one room booked) and she still only checked one of us in. Got all the way to the other end of the hotel which is extremely far and had to go all the way back and go through all the same motions with her. Very frustrating! Hotel is cheaply built and has kids running up and down the halls. Always check under bed before checking out and almost vomit at the stuff under there. Shower was terrible. Bath towels are like sandpaper. Would NOT recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the location was convenient. I really enjoyed my stay

Upon arrival the lobby is lovely stuck in a 2000 Tuscan era.We checked in a little later, the front staff lady was nice. When I got to my room the closet mirror door was broken and off the tracks so I didn’t even touch that there are paint chips all along the edging of the room. I get into the bathroom and there’s purple nail polish all over the floor no blankets on the bed Plus I went with my service animal let them know I was gonna be bringing a pet no dog beds or anything were provided nor was it even acknowledged. when I got to the room I called the front desk 3 times and nobody answered to try and get a blanket at the very least. when I realized that nobody was gonna be answering I tried to lay down and get some sleep but they keep their smoke detectors on the ceiling with the brightest green light they could possibly have made that contraption with. This light shines directly over the beds making it extremely difficult to get any type of sleep I checked out at 2 AM and expressed my concerns to the front desk man he did not care just said OK when I told him why I was leaving so early. as someone who works at a Hilton affiliated resort I was extremely disappointed that they were unable to uphold the same standards we do. The TVs are also from like 2001 and can’t cast any of your streaming networks. They do have cable the guy just doesn’t tell you what shows are playing just the name of the network you’re . Biggest waste of my money I highly recommend DO NOT stay here!!!

Kinda of dirty, worn down. This property is due for a remodel. Waited 20 minutes to check in behind 2 people. Only one working at reception during peak check in time. Wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were the right size and clean. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The pool was nice and in a sunny location. I would stay here again. It is close to the highway so convenient to go placea

The hotel was beautiful, the pool and spa were very nice. The bed’s were a little too hard for my liking. Stayed for a weekend getaway with my family. Was disappointed by the price and the fact that there is no complimentary breakfast like there is at most other Hilton’s I stay at regularly. Will probably not stay there again due to that fact. But otherwise, it is a quiet and beautiful relaxing property.

Overall the staff all around was nice. Hotel is old but clean. The rooms really need to be updated badly. The restaurants food for breakfast was decent. Portions nice size.

Pool was probably the best part, rooms definitely need to be updated and the walls and ceiling are so thin we could hear everyone all night. There was people partying and being super loud from a wedding I believe and staff didn’t seem to mind. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. For almost $400 I expected better. My daughter enjoyed the pool but that’s about it. Glad it was only for one night because we barely slept from the noise and slamming doors all night and uncomfortable beds. I wouldn’t be back and pay this price again unless it was an emergency.

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool and hot tub. Staff and housekeeping- excellent service.

Disappointed by night clerk. Toilet was clogged and when phone to report clerk didn’t hear and kept hang up. Called customer service and got connected via cell and she had attitude. Did not ask or show concern on why my husband called. He spoke to 5 am manage and got issue resolved by maintenance. Very poor service by night clerk very rude

Decent hotel, just needs an update. The room was aged and the toilet water pressure was scary. We didn’t want to have to call maintenance, so we were very careful. They employees were great and the food was awesome as well. Have the Greek donuts for desert with ice cream!

We loved staying at this hotel. Years ago we stayed here and their remodel was lovely and the rooms are spacious and comfortable! We used the pool and hot tub and the space was clean and comfortable. Loved the staff and especially loved that they still give you the warm chocolate chip cookies.
