The night clerk, Marvin or Marvin, I can't remember get a 15 in our books! He worked to find us a handicapped room we liked since we don't like the roll in showers. (We can't figure out how to take a shower without making a flood.) Then he help us get our luggage out of our car and up to our room. My husband was wearing a medical boot and waking with a cane. Our room was great! Spacious and with the low tub it was perfect. He also found us an extra luggage rack to put our second suitcase on, so we didn't have to bend down so low. I wish every hotel would put two luggage racks in every room. We always have two suitcases when we travel and have to decide who gets the rack. Old people can't bend over very easily!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The receptionist was super nice and the place was nice. Nothing

The new gray paint and siding update from the previous plantation white Jameson Inn look is nice. There is plenty of parking, but since the entrance is behind a gas station, the driveway should perhaps be made more visible. They cannot help their location behind the Waffle House (which it’s nice to be near an eating place) nor the gas station, but it does not make for a classy look. But when you are looking for affordability and comfort that doesn’t matter.

The king size bed was nice and comfortable. The pillows provided were small square "decorative" pillows. About 1/2 the size of a standard pillow making it very uncomfortable and hard to sleep well. The lamp bottoms where the plugs were, were dusty. When I pulled back the sheets to go to bed, there was a hair on the bed sheet. The little desk in the room was wabbly and felt unstable to sit at and use as a work station. The air was turned off when I arrived, giving the room a stale, stinky smell when entering. Once the air started running and circulating, the smell improved. The ice maker wasn't working on the 2nd floor. If you are only going to provide complimentary shampoo & body lotion, just stick with the bar of soap because obviously you are only offering the bare minimum. I checked out before 8am, so I would have thought the commentary breakfast would have been fully stocked. It was not. There was barely 1 serving of eggs. The sausage patties looked like greasy beef patties and the 1 biscuit looked burnt on top and hard. Needless to say, I passed on the commentary breakfast.

Everything was ok except for the coffee and the HVAC air quality. The bathroom could be touched up a bit more also. See previous posting

For the cost we felt the value was great. It was clean, the breakfast was good. We will stay there again. The bath room was a little cramped but manageable. The first couple of night we had to ask for more towels to be left in the room.

The manager refused to refund me for my trip. Then when I speak with Expedia, the hotel manager says “oh well she should’ve checked out if she had an issue” In the middle of the night? With an early morning flight? I was supposed to check out and either find another hotel or sleep in my car? I tried to overlook so much and when a real issue arose, they did nothing to address it. The breakfast was sad, the batter for the waffles machine tastes like it may be expired, the coffee watery, and the printing service they offer doesn’t work. The only pleasant part of my stay was leaving.
