Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Detroit Metro Airport Romulus

My room was not clean when i checked in… ruined the experience for me. I didn’t expect lavish but the cleanliness really through me off. The employee at the front desk did give me a hard time in the beginning but i guess I’ll see how helpful she was once i received my refund.

Hot water took a while in shower. Rooms a little loud with planes. Decent breakfast.

Our granddaughter woke up after breakfast ended, but the kitchen staffmember was very kind and got out some breakfast for her.

LINENS NEED UPDATING

Hot tub was broken. I didn't like the hot items they had for breakfast except the egg souffle on the metal cups. Hotel was clean. Liked how there was a button to push for do not disturb and clean the room. Although they never freshened up the room while I was there. I think I got up too late. The shower was up in a way that I did not get water all over the floor I liked that.

The first room they gave us was still dirty at 8pm, the second room had no hot water for a shower, the hot tub did not work, we did not get our wake up call. Front desk staff was rude, she said she was the manager as she was very rude. I want a refund

The staff was friendly and the room very comfortable. We were disappointed that the pool water was cold and the hot tub was down!

The pool was soo relaxing Wished the Hot tub was working and The gym just needs a little more exquipment. Other than that the staff are super nice The rooms are clean and doesnt smell like smoke

We were given a handicap room that we did not request. The bed was almost on the floor. The mattress had some mattress pad that had noise all night. Not a good at all.

Good shuttle service to and from airport.

There was extremely long wait time to check-in and out due to only one front desk staff. The front desk worker M. Taylor was very slow and unpleasant. No breakfast on Sunday, May 3, 2026 due no staff on duty. The hot was closed on May 2nd & 3rd. The carpet on the third floor had large dark stains and bleach stains in multiple areas. The body wash, conditioner, and shampoo dispensers were almost empty. I had to go to the front desk to retrieve a full body wash bottle because it wasn't enough in my room to use until the maid staff returned the next day.

Mediocre breakfast service, dated rooms and facilities.
