Red Caboose Motel

It was a nice stay, staff very friendly and helpful. The noise from traffic going by was a little much and in room coffee was awful, had to wait until restaurant opened and I'm an early bird.

Was a really fun stay. I will pass this place on to everyone. Thanks so much.

It was a unique experience, but the inside could have been neater. Old bed covers, old carpet, old curtains. Outside needed care, the grounds needed raking the porches needed sweeping

We left after 2 nights. The motel sent you a refund for you to forward to me. Knats, leaking Toilet. Box box spring cover with stained. Where we have to park in front of number five there was a huge puzzle there so you couldn’t get out of the car without getting your feet wet just not fun. It was not up to our standards and we told him we were leaving.

I stayed at the Red Caboose motel as a child. 40 years later, it is still a really neat and unusual place to stay. A lot of remodeling has been done on the cabooses in that time, but the amenities are great. Staff was very attentive and friendly -- you know, the kind of staff that enjoys their job and make it show every time. Our caboose had four bunks, a double bed, TV, A/C, electric baseboard heat, a hot shower, nice bathroom sink, fridge/freezer, microwave. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to maybe returning next year.

Check In staff member Aiden was incompetent for the role along with the 2 young girls working in the red caboose restaurant. Appalling work ethics with an appalling personality to match!

Our stay was good, especially, stuff was helpful, animals were very cute, and motel was unique.

The room was very inviting and the staff was extremely friendly and enjoyed sitting on the porch to watch the trains go through, would book a room to stay there again. Handicapped bar in the bathtub , as I am elderly and that was my only concern.

The room was spacious, clean and ready to use. There was more room than expected for a train caboose. The petting zoo was a big hit with my wife, she really like llamas.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and our son absolutely loved it! The converted train cars make for such a unique and memorable experience, with a really fun Americana feel. The rooms are understandably a little smaller and older given that they are actual train cars, and some areas of the property show their age, but we could also see that they were actively renovating and putting a lot of work into the property during our stay. There are fewer traditional hotel amenities, such as a pool or free breakfast, but that really isn't what you're coming here for, and we knew that going in. It was quiet, enjoyable, and something completely different from a typical hotel stay. We would absolutely stay here again, especially because of how much our son enjoyed the experience.

The idea for this is fantastic and well executed. We both enjoyed our caboose.......but with issues for me .....only because I'm 6'2 230lbs and everything was a tad confining for me, especially the beds which were full size. Although the bath room was very nice and bright with plenty of skylights....but no exhaust fan

My wife forgot her jewelry in the hotel room. Administrator Christine called us and sent the jewelry back to us! We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Christine and all hotel staff. Good bless you!
