Soudersburg Motel

My husband did not want to try a different hotel/motel but I insisted we stay somewhere and somewhere cheaper than where we normally stay. I found this one at a good price. He was so skeptical because he hates to visit a new place to find it dirty! While the Soudersburg Motel seems a little older they did very well with what they have. My husband was satisfied with how clean it was. I was satisfied with the friendly staff. My husband liked the outdoor entrance to our room. Very good. We will likely be going back.

We understood it was an older property when we booked the reservation. What we didn't realize was how poorly they maintained this motel. The room was dingy and dirty. It had a rank smell of tobacco and some sort of chemicals. We assumed the smell was in the carpet that was really dirty. The blankets on the bed were old, pilled and just plain nasty. We decided we would sleep in our cars before laying down in this gross room. We checked out 5 minutes after arriving and thankfully found a very clean and modern room up the road. I was charged in full for this mistake. I have insurance and plan on filing a claim.

Room smelled. Pool not functioning. Bed sheets were stained and gross. Room was not clean, cob webs, dusty, carpet was disgusting...our sicks were filthy from walking on it. The towels were stained and smelled terrible. We had 3 people and they only gave us 2 towels....asked got 3 clean towels then the cleaner took back one towel after we left the room. Ended up going yo Walmart buying towels n sheets for the bed. It was not pleasant...never will stay again and I would not recommend.

Had a great stay. Everything was fresh and clean. The room could have used a small table and 2 chairs to sit at. Otherwise, excellent stay.

Room was very clean and cozy.Also staff was so kind.I will come back 100%..

Reasonable price. Room smelled musty at first and another person noticed their room did too. The housekeeper was friendly. People appeared to be living in some rooms.

Reserved room with 3 beds but still got 3rd degree for having 5 people in group. Maybe that’s why I ordered a room with 3 beds

Dirty and old. Dont fall for it. Its a dump. Go somewhere else.

No coffee machines, the 1 tiny shampoo bottle in the room was empty, and only two towels were provided. The room was expensive for the lack of amenities and it was out-dated. I could have stayed at a more updated hotel for the same price. It would have been a good deal for $60-$70.

The location The pool was not open

The room was terrible. It smelled so musty and like mild/mold. Went to the front desk, asked for a new room and was told they were sold out. Asked for my money back, was told I can't do that. Luckily a friend stayed there too, her room was rough, but didn't have the same smell so he slept in there. I opened our door and let it open for about 2 hours and still couldn't get the smell out. I slept in the room I paid for. Woke up in the am and my sinuses were so messed up. I couldn't breath and was super congested. I booked a room elsewhere for the night for more money, never got any money back from this place. The pool had the ripped cover in it, so no pool as advertised ether. Do yourself a favor spend the money for a better, cleaner, nicer hotel. Would never ever stay here again.

Rooms lack coffee maker.

The place felt very dated and worn. For me, when choosing a place to stay, cleanliness trumps everything else. While we didn't experience getting bed bugs or anything, it felt like we could have. It just felt scuzzy. Very few amenities. The outdoor pool which was supposed to be open, was not. This was June 11th and 12th; it should have been open and was advertised as it was. We booked a room for 5 people, there were only enough towels and washcloths for 3. I mean, how hard is it to properly prepare for the correct number of guests? The lady at the front desk gave us additional towels and washcloths, but we shouldn't have had to go get them ourselves. We had stayed here several years ago and don't recall any issues back then, so the decline must be recent. It is certainly a place to rest your head and get a shower, but we won't choose to stay here again.

2 day stay, clean room, parking close to room, nice and quiet. Nice staff, would stay again, it’s about the 5th time I stayed

Several amenities also fell short. The pool was closed, the Wi‑Fi was unreliable, the television did not work upon arrival because of an unplugged cable that we had to identify and fix ourselves after receiving no response from the front desk, and the refrigerator arrived warm and took about six hours to cool. Overall, poor cleanliness, inadequate upkeep, and limited responsiveness to guest concerns outweighed the benefit of the location, and we would not recommend this hotel.

Great Motel!

Clean and nice people that work there i would stay again the only thing was pillows where flat i would bring your only pillows

i liked the location of the hotel to the shops and things to do. we got it cause we thought the pool would be open but it wasn't. the toilet seat was broken and there wasn't a way to stop the water in the tube to give kids a bath.
