This was our first time using Avid. It was easy to find and parking was no problem. The young lady, Talia, I believe, that checked us in was just delightful and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Mixed feelings on breakfast. It was good, but limited. However, the coffee machine that ground and brewed fresh coffee was wonderful and was available 24/7. Overall, it was a comfortable stay

The only downside is that we did not have hand soup or body wash in our room but everything else was perfect and the staff was amazing. I would go back again.

Avid is our go-to hotel when we stay in MN on our travels & concerts. We’ve always had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff have always been welcoming & accommodating. We often check in quite late & the one night shift guy has always been a joy. The rooms are always clean, the beds & pillows cozy & the variety at breakfast is a nice bonus. The area it is located in is nice & quiet & close to plenty of accommodations.

Cleaning and maintenance, staff not accommodating medical condition, no microwaves or coffee maker in rooms.

Much of the signage (esp. room numbers) is plastic and broken/cracked. Looks cheap. Eggs cooked in a solid mass in a pan, then sliced into cubes is not appetizing.

Very nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only con was the TV. Kept losing signal, would come on for awhile and then shut down again for several minutes. Very annoying but everything else was great.
