The hotel was peaceful and clean. I will definitely book a room there again

Room was clean and parking well lit. Staff are friendly and responsive.

The Avid Hotel is a minimalist hotel. Nothing fancy, nothing extra, no artwork. Rooms are small, no carpeting, no real furniture, just shelves attached to the wall. But it has everything you need. I loved the walk-in shower (no bathtub). The bathroom light comes on automatically when you enter the room, which no one needs in the middle of the night. Then it stays on too long before shutting off. There was a full breakfast. All-in-all, I recommend this hotel.

Breakfast eggs were awful but the coffee machine was great .

Parking lot is large.

hands down, the most friendly down to earth front desk of any hotel... and we travel a lot. love the ice maker right by the elevator with ice buckets as to you up. it's the little things.

Location Room location stunk. Dirty.

It took a little while to get to our actual room because the first time we were given a key without the room number written on it and had to go back and then when we did get to our room it was dirty and had not been cleaned yet at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The floors in the two rooms that we stepped foot in were vinyl tile. They looked kind of grungy and were kind of sticky because of the material, not necessarily because they were dirty. Not something I recommend for a bedroom. The breakfast was adequate, but I've been to other hotels with more options and definitely more gluten-free options at the same price point or even lower.

Avid is my go to place when I travel to Roseville. It's clean and the staff is great and very accommodating.

I guess what I saw was hallways were not cleaned up. The breakfast area didn't have an attendant so there were a lot of paper products on the floor, cereal spilled, and messy around food dispensers. Tables not washed between usage.

The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is okay. Really like the fact that I could get coffee all day long. When we checked in, the lady at the desk had a bad cold. She wasn't wearing a mask nor did she have any hand sanitizer. I guess that the lessons learned from covid were soon forgotten.The cleanliness of the hotel was not up to the standard that it should be for a hotel. The rooms were acceptable. The garbage cans around the lobby were dirty. I stayed there 3 days and the tops of the garbage containers near the food service area were dirty. They changed the bags but they never cleaned the external area. Also, I took my dog out the back door area and there was garbage spilled and not picked up for days. We ran out of toilet paper and Kleenex on the first evening. There was not a spare roll of toilet paper left in the bathroom. We called the front desk and they probably brought up one roll and one box of kleenex. I also had to request towels as they're only two bath towels, two hand towels and two face cloths. The next day when room service came, they emptied the garbage, took out the towels and left us with one towel each and one face cloth each. No hand towels and no spare towels. They never made the bed. I don't care about the bed so much but it demonstrates how little pride the housekeeping staff takes in their job. Also, the hot water machine for getting water for tea has a problem with the button to get the hot water. I stayed at this hotel twice since January and that hot water button has not worked. When I told the staff at the check in, the guy told me it does work but you have to play with it. So he got a cup of hot water for me after a few minutes. So, the button is not functioning correctly and it should be repaired. When there's nobody at the front desk, you can't get hot water if you can't finagle that button. The rooms are tight. They have one desk style chair in the room and it's not very comfortable. The bed is also very high up and as I get older, I found it difficult to get into bed there. Need a footstool.

Our stay was okay. Our king room was super small. The mini fridge is a mini mini fridge and not very cold. The towels were thin and hard. The air conditioner was extremely loud. It was clean and comfortable otherwise. The towels bothered me the most. The staff were super nice which made up for some of the shortcomings.

Clean. Beds are comfortable. They stop offering hot water for tea in the lobby in the PM hours.
