Staybridge Suites Toledo - Rossford - Perrysburg by IHG

We were not informed that there would be extensive construction going on during our stay. Upon arrival, the staff member was almost asleep at the desk. The printer was disconnected due to the construction. It was dusty and not clean. Our room was okay. The queen beds were comfy and good to sleep in. The pull out was WAY too small for our 2 kids to sleep in so 1 had to sleep on the floor. There were no sheets for the pull out and the mattress was dirty. There were flies and cobwebs in the room as well. There were packages of coffee grounds but no coffee pot to make coffee. The faucet was little more than a drip to wash hands or brush teeth and the water in the shower wasn’t much better. The breakfast was in the meeting room. Knowing that, I thought it would be packaged items, however, there were sausages and biscuit with gravy, fresh fruit (some red grapes were sour but the green grapes and blueberries were excellent along with the yogurt parfait). The older woman working was working really hard. She said she’d toast my bagel and then she forgot about it. She profusely apologized when she realized the error and made me another one right away…apologizing again when she gave it to me. When we were checking out, the front desk staff member asked how our stay was and I said ”well it was ok”. She asked what I meant and I shared most of this with her. She apologized for the state of the hotel and said she would look into the room we were in and why there was so much wrong with it.

The breakfast is very good

Had to ask for our room to be serviced every day of the 8 nights we were there after being told by the front desk that housekeeping comes every day.Breakfast was pretty pathetic and we ate at local restaurants half the days. No occasional cocktail reception as stated. The only nice thing that wad appreciated was the free self laundry.

Was not greeted in kindness at our very late checkin. In the AM the breakfast was very limited and no forks/spoons to be found. When asked about the spoons and forks one of the workers took them out of the cabinet and placed them in the holders w/o wearing any gloves. Missing extra blankets and sheets for the sofa bed, when I went downstairs to grab them no apology was given or seemed like I was a burden for even asking.

Indoor pool had just been renovated and is really nice. Breakfast was good and had quite a variety. Everything I had was good. Lots of comfortable seating inside and outside. Except in our room. The bed was great but the seating was very uncomfortable. There was a door between the toilet/shower and the sink. It swings in and the area is too small to get around the door so it took some maneuvering to get the door closed. The door would be better between the bedroom and the sink. Nothing in walking distance but anywhere we went was a 15-minute drive. Coffee always available in the lobby. Really liked that. We were charmed by the place. We really liked it.

I cannot thank the staff enough for how helpful and kind they were!

The pool was closed and they're renovating. We were given what appeared to be a renovated room that was not quite done. No window shades in the one sleeping area. No coffee pot, poor water pressure.

Unfortunately the cleaning crew can’t get smells out.. not sure if previous vape, cigarette, or marijuana

They gave me a smaller room then I paid for and wasn't able to accommodate me. The air conditioner in the room didnt work and we had to remain in that room due to being full. The television only worked on the low channels but we didn't know that so we went without a tv

I greatly appreciate the staff and ease of finding my room.

Recent renovations. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a hotel. Great mattress and wonderful breakfast staff!

They are remodeling the property so we were able to stay in a newly remodeled room which was great! New paint and carpet in the hallways. The breakfast was sub-par, no butter, honey, or ketchup. Styrofoam plates and bowls. Overall I would give it 7-8 out of 10.

The two bedroom suite did not have a working door between the second bedroom and the living room, the carpet is ripped up, there is no shower curtain in the second bathroom, the facility is poorly maintained.

We enjoyed a clean, refurbished room, & the common areas appeared clean & updated as well. The breakfast buffet was good. All staff we interacted with were pleasant. Would definitely return.
