Beautiful Victorian in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Excellent secure parking. Beautiful interior. And great private rooms. Also very affordable.
-
Good place to stay if you like hostels. Close to downtown and lots of good restaurants. It’s a beautiful and old building.

This is an awesome place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep.

Great staff, ample private rooms
-
The property and rooms are not well cared for… bathrooms disgusting with hair and dust everywhere, curtains falling from the windows… they also charge $8 per car for parking which is ridiculous given how much we paid for a private room ($150 a night). For this price, it’s better to just get a hotel.

The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through Sacramento.

Didn’t actually end up staying the night but it was a great spot. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the bunks seemed pretty nice in the shared female dorm and I’m sure had I actually spent the night, it would’ve been great.

Everything was good. Their was homeless people on the grass directly outside the property. One of em had open wounds on his face. He was lying down on a dirty brown mattress he carried from somewhere.
-
I appreciated how close it was for almost every attraction or museum. It was within a reasonable walking distance.
-
The ornate and Bohemian approach for the decor with a touch of vintage and classic The facilities closed very early in regards to the kitchen and game room only. I understand why though some people maybe night owls. Maybe provide them a little evening area or something where they wouldn't disturb people. That's just a thought

Love the access to kitchen and living spaces . Safe parking. Beautiful historic building. Pillows and bedding in private room seemed a bit depleted in comfort.
