The Citizen Hotel, Autograph Collection

Great hotel that had charm. The on-site restaurant and bar was great. Room was clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy in the area at night but that didnt have anything to do with the hotel. Location was great for getting ubers.

Clean room, great customer service they made it feel like home, especially the house keeping team they were so great and nice they deserved to be recognized for the hard work they all do

Property is beautiful but the neighborhood has nothing to offer except many unhoused folks.

If you stay on the side facing J St., be aware, there is a PA announcement that blasts throughout the night, when some radar or camera detects anyone trying to sleep on the grounds there. I was woken up several times during the night.

My only real feedback would be around cleanliness. There wasn’t a fitted sheet on the mattress, which was a bit of a bummer, and the shower had some visible mold in a few areas. The air filter was also noticeably full of dust and dirt and looked like it could use a good cleaning or replacement. Those details aside, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great experience overall. With a little more attention to the room cleanliness, it would have been excellent!

Great location downtown. A little worn down, but comfortable bed and bath facilities. Easy parking just across the street. Convenient restaurant on property.

Also bed and pillows were the worst ever.

Welcoming staff, beautiful room. The restaurant was great. My only negative is the noise from the street. They do kindly provide ear plugs.
