The Greens Hotel - Stockton Blvd

Very good. Very sparse. No amenities inside. No place to hang clothes. No place to put your towel when coming out of the shower. In spite of that we liked the property and would come back. It was clean and more than acceptable

I didn’t really like much

Not a whole lot. The grounds were neatly kept. The large green grassy areas in the photos were nowhere to be seen except a smaller area outside the gate. 'Fridge was good. The best thing was its close proximity to UCDavis hosp which is the reason I booked it. I was unexpectedly faced with a large steel door (wall) that was the entrance to the hotel parking. I had no idea how I could get in. Luckily a pedestrian who was also staying there--perhaps he parked his car around the corner so he too could figure out how to get inside the premise to check in...made contact through a person gate and allowed the large metal wall to open so I could enter. If I had arrived after dark, I would've been very upset. As soon as I opened the room door I was hit with a very strong, bad disinfectant smell. Never had that before w/other places. I had a very noisy neighbor above me who stomped across his floor all hours of nite except from 4-5am when he soon left. NO microwave. No rack for hanging clothes. VERY LITTLE table space, no luggage rack. No tissues. Bed ok, pillows hard. Iron towel rack in bath had large gross rust spots in the paint. Nothing decorative about the room. Depressing. TV service poor.

Once you get past the “Mad Max” style front gate, it is an excellent Motel with plenty of parking. I parked right in front of my room. Which is always handy. Air conditioning was excellent, the room was clean and had charm. TV had good selection and easy hookup for entertainment via laptop. Friendly staff, mice amenities. Easy access to many local charms. Five stars!

I like the location; good room, clean bed. Terrible service from an unfriendly, lazy receptionist; he charged me the deposit twice and argued with me, claiming he hadn't double-charged me, and the money still hasn't been returned to my account. The office is dirty; the place looks abandoned.

Saw cockroaches in the morning on the floor in our room. Possible bedbugs. Smoke or bad smells in the room. Will never ever book again.

The AC was not cooling the room. We dropped it down to 66 and it still felt stuffy.

You cannot find a place like this clean, Quiet, Safe, free ice and the most important is cheap.

Rooms are clean. Great stay for the price. Stockton Blvd can be sketchy at times but there's a gate (with code) that keeps the hotel property secure and private. Staff is amicable.
