Beautiful hotel
-
Very nice hotel, clean, professional staff and great location. I would come back soon

Our room was clean. The door to the bathroom is translucent so every time someone used it after bedtime, the entire bedroom was illuminated. In our opinion, this is a huge design flaw that disturbed everyone’s night sleep. Despite all other positive interactions, we would never book again here for this reason alone.

Christian was the very best in housekeeping

Our 4th floor corner room was perfect for watching the fireworks!

Clean room, very helpful staff
-
Modern and the breakfast was great the bar was well stocked and the bartender made the best cocktail.
-
Usually no food service from 10-6 but there were shops within walking distance. Location is close enough to walk to downtown. They are expanding so the view was a bit compromised.

Friendly staff

El hotel está muy limpio, las áreas comunes y las habitaciones.El personal muy amigable ,sonriente y dispuesto a colaborar con cualquier situación.Lo único en lo que debían mejorar es en el servicio de desayuno.Por lo demás todo fue excelente,

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pool was a little small. Location was great as we walked everywhere, no more than 10-20 minutes to any place we wanted to go. Only downside to hotel, it’s not much to do for kids at the hotel besides the pool. Breakfast is $18 per person as well if you chose to eat there.

We enjoyed our stay at AC Downtown Saint Augustine. Being a relatively new facility, everything was in great shape. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, always greeting us as we walked through. Lobby was spotless. Bar was great. Pool was rather small, but we didn’t have opportunity to enjoy it. The landscaping was beautiful and staff was constantly tidying up the property after several heavy rainstorms. Our room was spotless and fresh. Bathroom was spotless. Shower had a rainfall shower head. Our balcony had two chairs and a small table. Nice size. The view from our balcony was not particularly exciting as the area adjacent to the hotel was being developed. There was excavating equipment everywhere. I imagine the view will be pleasant someday when there are boats in the marina and adjacent properties are finished. We were particularly pleased to have two great restaurants within walking distance to the hotel.

Walkable to all the restaurants and shopping. The bar was great and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

When I checked in, I was told that they didn’t have the balcony room that I had reserved. When I checked in at 6 PM, the front desk told me the reservation had just been received that afternoon. My receipt through Expedia showed that it was booked five days earlier. The front desk person blamed the third-party reservation and said there was nothing to be done about it. She told me that parking on site was $50 and they would waive the parking fee as a courtesy. The self parking cost on Expedia is listed at $22 per day. She suggested we enjoy the buy one get one free drinks at happy hour. Turns out it is only for one cheap red or white wine or 2 draft beer options - one was out. The wines are not even listed on the menu - not recommended. Felt misleading. The room overall was comfortable, but there or several long hairs in the shower and on the toilet. The hair conditioner was also out. The last point I will make is that the pictures of the marina are a little sketchy. There are what looks like power stations and wires in the marina that you definitely don’t see in the photos. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The lobby is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. We debated between staying at one of St. Augustine’s historic inns or choosing this newer property, and we’re so glad we picked the AC Hotel. It was much closer to the historic district than we expected while still offering all the comforts of a modern hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was very new and clean. Our biggest disappointment was the fact there are no closets or dresser drawers to put your clothes. I don’t like to live out of a suitcase. When we asked the front desk they said this is what travelers like today…Not!!! I also don’t like the sliding glass doors to the bathroom as they’re very loud when you get up during the night to use the restroom. Opening and closing the door wakes everyone up!
