DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Salt Lake City

The place itself was a good place to be at I loved the layout of the room and the amenities. As for the staff, i will say they could have been more polite and understanding. I low key felt harrassed

I love that there's a separate living room and bedroom. The pool is small but nice and the staff is always friendly. The place always seems clean and is in a great location. It's where we always stay when we visit Salt Lake City.

Very cool open foyer, lots of glass ceilings. I felt like a fancy boy. Free cookies! Pillows were i little understuffed in my opinion

The hotel advertises free breakfast, but they intentionally place the free breakfast in a restaurant and make people feel awkward about getting the free breakfast. They act like it’s not free, and you have to point out that it’s listed on their website. The room was also poorly maintained, outlets were broken, and the shower of course barely drained. The staff had was almost never at the desk, and you would have to wait there for a few minutes each time to get help. It looks nice from afar, but poor maintenance and deceptive practices. I would stay elsewhere.

We took our teenage grandkids to FanX, then stayed overnight at Doubletree in downtown Salt Lake. We loved everything about our stay. The room was spacious and quiet, the king bed was comfortable. Even the pullout bed was pretty good. They brought the kids extra down comforters and pillows when we asked for an extra blanket. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choices for everyone. And the price was decent. We immediately decided we’re coming back for our anniversary next year.

The hotel was wonderful. We had a ample amount of space and the beds are very comfortable as well. Would recommend this hotel to anybody!

It was nice to have a 2 room suite. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked great. The hotel is older but moderately clean and had an onsite bar/restaurant with really good food. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. (Staff included multiple people at the front desk and the bartenders at the bar/restaurant) Parking was $20 per day and the lot was a little dark but was next to the hotel and seemed to have plenty of spots available. We were surprised at the number of little up and coming areas to eat that were walking distance. (our version of walking distance = 1 mile or less one way). We booked a city tour through Expedia that provided alot of historical facts and guided us to the main attractions. Take a drive to the Great Salt Lake. Its only 20 minutes away.

I love Double Tree Suites! I injured my leg prior to arrival and the staff found me a wheelchair!! A miracle! Thank you to all the staff at this wonderful downtown Salt Lake City location!!!

The hotel itself was very nice. Didn't like how everything beyond the room came with an additional charge. Parking was $20 per night, and the breakfast buffet was $29 per person. We abandoned the Wi-Fi signup halfway through the purchase process and simply used our cellular data. None of these “extras” were any better than the amenities comparable hotels typically include in the room rate.

Excellent all around experience

The staff was really nice. The roommate spacious and clean. The only con is the shower curtain rod was hanging on barely. It looked like it was repaired but broken again.

Good hotel would stay again
