Clean room, nice breakfast, dog friendly.

Air conditioner was broken on a 102 degree day. TV was not connected to any service. I asked to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else but no. Ended up sleeping on the floor by the window as it was the coolest option. It was a rough uncomfortable night

We checked in and were checking out within 15-20 minutes. Broken AC. Dirty sheets. Bugs. When I went downstairs and asked to check out (with the same person we had just checked out) and there was no surprise when I told him the issues. There was absolutely no trying to accommodate us into a different room or circumstance. Literally no comment bout the AC, sheets or bugs. By the way, I was not mad, he was not mad. I wasn't asking for refund, he wasn't offering one. He was actually very nice and at the very end apologized. He just seemed defeated - like he knew.

Room was clean, front desk staff was super nice. Breakfast was also good. As for the hotel its self we were warned the cooling system was at half capacity so it was very warm in there. The bath tub did not drain properly but the room was clean and nice. We were able to cancel and get full refund back over the cooling issue if we didn't want to stay but last minute getting a different hotel was not in budget so we stayed anyhow.

They had no ac in the building working and no parking
-
No AC and they double booked rooms

This is a fine hotel with a convenient location in downtown Salt Lake City. Sights are walkable and there are some restaurants nearby. The hotel's breakfast was typical with hot choices such as scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. Overall this is a good choice for downtown.

I didn't like the fact that I was turned away after flying all the way from Florida. I wasn't offered any kind of option and I still haven't received my refund. Expedia SUCKS!
-
TV didn’t work and when asked the gentleman at the front desk he treated us like we were stupid and said he would try and get to our room, he never showed! The AC was not working - had to get a fan to just cool it off. The tub drain was slow
-
The A/C was not on OR very low as the room was hot. The person at the desk was not very helpful and English was an issue for him.
-
The property was rough around the edges. The bathroom old, not particularly clean. It needs a remodel. When checking out I noticed a bug, it looked like a baby roach, crawling on the wall at the front desk- I informed the front desk representative and he used a magazine to whisk it off the wall- it landed on the ground and that was that He didn’t try to kill it. And, obviously he wasn’t thinking that extermination services were needed.

Was without air conditioning for several days. The room was hot

There was a large bug crawling on the floor the second night we stayed. Other than that it was good. Breakfast is excellent.
-
Horrible experience. The AC went out in the building, totally understand how that's not their fault but the way it was handled was awful. Staff was rude. Kept getting told different information depending who you talked to. Overall, terrible experience and won't be back.
-
Older hotel and the air conditioner broke after the first night leaving us to try and sleep in extremely hot conditions. Needless to say, didn’t get much sleep and the guy at the front desk didn’t seem to care and brushed us off. We were there for three nights and it still wasn’t fixed by the time we left. NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR!!!

Overall, the room lacked cleanliness and needs a huge update.
-
It was a 98 degree day and the AC was out. So we were hot. The mini fridge still had a previous guests food still in it. The bathroom had hair and dirt in it. The tub was covered in rust and mold. The shower curtain rod was not level, therefore the curtain would sag toward the center. The door into the room looked like it had been broken into at some point. I could go on, but I’ll stop here. It felt like the room was never cleaned properly before we got there. Thankfully we only stayed one night, but I won’t go back.

People were kind and the room was decent.
