Extended Stay America Suites Salt Lake City Sugar House

The property was clean and in a convenient area. My only complaint is the noise. I was woken up many times each night/early morning. Sometimes it sounded like maybe cleaning carts rolling but it was very frequent and loud.

Travelers, beware: if there’s any chance you’ll be checking in after 11 PM, do not book this hotel. I find it hard to believe the front desk is so busy that no one could call to confirm my arrival, or that there isn’t a backup system in place — like a lockbox for key pickup, similar to what many Airbnbs offer. Because of this, I lost my reservation and my money with no way to get either back. I do not recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Location for this place is everything. The room was spacious and well equipped as is every extended stay. Breakfast was prepackaged stuff. Staff could be more interested.

Don’t have high hopes on this one. Bare minimum of everything, including “breakfast”. Extremely dated and noisy.

Close to everything convenient

This hotel served its purpose. It was a clean place to stay. My only complaint is that the shower didn’t drain well and filled up the tub.

The first room we were given smelled like smoke. We requested a different room. But that one didn’t have working AC so we left. It was better to lose $120 and pay for the other hotel than stay there.

The room was clean. The staff were super helpful. The real fast was granola bar, muffin, & coffee.

Love the place

Check in was smooth and staff very friendly. A lot of places to eat within walking distance

Exceptional

The refrigerator door wouldn't close and it leaked a red substance from underneath and water from inside. The floors were dirty and there was a red substance under one bed. The outlet plug in the stove area didn't work.

Not the cleanest. A/C was broke in the triple digit heat.

Breakfast was minimal "coffee bar". Room served its purpose for a place to sleep and bath.
