Hampton Inn & Suites Salt Lake City-University/Foothill Dr

Tub won't drain, called for maintenance, told us they'd contact them, then later they told us maintenance doesn't work weekends. It was filling up as you showered. Staff could be a little more enthusiastic and welcoming. Just felt blah walking in. Was a place to lay our heads and serve the purpose, but nothing spectacular.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is quick, easy, and good.

The Hampton Inn used to be a guaranteed clean and comfortable stay but sadly that was not the case. The hair dryer didn’t work, the chair was broken - it was 2 nights that we “put up with” because it was paid for and we knew there was no alternative. Would say to book another hotel for SLC.

Best soda sleeper mattress I e ever slept on.

No running water. Disaster. I don't know why the front desk checked me in without letting me know. I cancelled and requested a refund.

They should have contacted us so we could make other accommodations. The water main was not their fault but their response was terrible. Hotels.com refunded us, but the property did nothing to help.

Friendly staff Drank spoiled milk for breakfast and the sheets made my skin itch

location . lobby needs a total upgrade . everything about this property is old and would be okay if we were paying deeply discounted prices but we are paying top dollar

Overall, a good hotel. Bathtub didn't drain and water pooled in the bottom. When standing in the shower, the tub is very creaky and sounds unstable. Lastly, they say there are ceiling fans in these rooms but that is not true.

The beds were hard, the pillows were flat and smelly and the breakfast was not very good.

Nice room, but the area was very noisy. Parking was available, but it was a bit difficult to know where to park (not well signed).

Google maps had us go around the back. Very confusing. There was no wifi!! But staff was helpful

The Wi-Fi was not available and had been for days! Not good for business travelers and people going to Utah/Huntsman hospitals.

Great location, close to the hospital plus their was other places to eat around the hotel in walking distance.
