Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Stes Salt Lake City-Airport East by IHG

Our room was clean, beds were comfy, and staff was friendly. Construction was happening in the hotel, breakfast was not always stocked and juice machine was broken, and I specifically picked a hotel with a pool for my kids, but staff closed the pool on our second day there saying it needed maintenance. However, no "maintenance needed" or "closed" sign was ever put up and we felt like they just didnt want kids playing in the pool. The hot tub needs major work (looked dirty and worn down, was cold on our first day, and jets never worked).

The rooms were clean nice size and affordable. They had a shuttle service from the airport. It was under construction but didn’t mind that either.

For items not working please post a sign. Juice machine and hot tub area. Family of 5 . Room was spacious and fairly priced. Enjoyed the pancakes and ice machine. ( driving from utah dry camping so u understand) Parking included .

The staff was nice and helpful.

The rooms are dated from the 1970’s and their’s a great deal of homeless people on the same block. The breakfast they provided was a few boxes of cereal and muffins. I will never go back to this place.

Decent hotel. Very close to the airport, which was a huge bonus! Hotel is currently being remodeled, but it didn’t interfere too much with our stay.

Conveniently located near the airport but property around the hotel (not the hotel itself) was full of trash, homeless people) The hotel had some internal construction going on as well.

Breakfast was decent. But there’s no restaurant around for dinner. The hotel was remodeled from an old hotel. Some of the things are old and rusty.

Hotel was clean even while going through some remodeling and construction. Rooms were clean and air conditioning worked great. Bathrooms had plenty of amenities for my family of 4. Breakfast was ok. Because the kitchen was under remodeling, everything was geared more towards cold cereal, muffins, and some fruit, so if you were wanting a hot breakfast...which we did, we had to go out instead.

The hotel was built along the interstate. Couldn’t sleep at all due to the loud traffic. Double pane windows my butt. The air conditioner sounded like a helicopter was landing. Just an awful experience. Will never stay there again.

Our room was filled with bugs (small flies/gnats), and the breakfast area was under loud construction (which we were not warned of at time of booking).

The Hotel is 7 minutes from the airport. The Hotel is in the process of renovating the dining area.

N/a Would have been nice to know ahead of time that the pool was closed that was one of our main purposes of reserving the hotel. The front desk clerk told us we would cancel and she would give us a refund due to this inconvenience. However, they never processed the refund. I disputed it and lost the dispute so I have to pay for the hotel that we never stayed at plus pay for the hotel that we did stay at. The front desk clerk lied about the refund. She said my confirmation was my email that I had received. However, the email did not show an amount which I didn’t think too much about in the moment.

Location is good, but no good options for breakfast Smell in the Bathroom, of a poor Exhaust system (bacterial smell, which was lingering in my nose for all the days of my stay), Need to clean up the duct

The room had every we needed but was very basic I didn’t like the fact that we were not told that the hotel was under renovation, and we could experience dusty conditions.

Convince from airport. To far to walk anywhere! And the pool wasn’t open.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was hot, and the pool was warm.
