Sonesta Simply Suites Salt Lake City Airport

Old and filthy. Folks were nice enough. Wouldn’t stay again.

It was the easiest check in. They are doing some upgrade but my room is impeccably clean and quiet.

Perfect stay, good location with access to city, airport and highways.

The hotel needs to provide bottles of water. There were none and I was told to use a vending machine and the bottles of water were out! Then to purchase an orange juice, I was charged $4.25

The room was no where near what the pictures show on the website. Some walls were dirty. The bed frame was exposed and you can see debris/dirt sitting there. We were trying to rest before the event we were attending and they were doing some kind of repairs next door so there was banging for a few hours. They need to replace their towels. I guess you get what you pay for!!

The room was clean

There is no hair dryer in the room but got one from the front desk. There’s kitchenette, a microwave and a fridge which is useful if you decide to cook something. Overall I am happen with it.

Good for the price.

You still have to pay $5 a night to park a vehicle, even if you’re staying at the property. Pretty run down property and rooms really. Equivalent of a typical low to mid level motel.

There was a weird smell in the room. It was fine for one night, but would recommend staying elsewhere for longer periods.

Overall a simple place to stay however the room needed a little more given I found an eye lash and some trash just sitting on the floor next to the bed. I do know they are updating items as signage was posted on the doors
