Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Airport

Paid for a room with some kind of view and balcony. The room is so small I felt like we were on a cruise. Very disappointed in the property for charging this much and getting so little. Will not stay here again especially with the amount of other properties in the area.

hotel was being remodeled, very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to airport and convenient stay for guest flying out. They do offer food at hotel but not much else near by.

Loved this hotel! Although some of the place was under construction, the areas that were available were clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Quiet, even next to airport. Rooms were large and nice. Kids loved the pool and the breakfast was great! We also appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and informative. The room appeared clean.

Shuttle drivers were great day and night. Food available at desk which is especially great late night arrival. Nice quiet hotel.

The hotel breakfast is great. The “Placery” dining experience promised quality food. NO! They microwave everything! Since the dining area was under construction, they had the bartender managing the tables for food. He acted put upon and was more interested in his televised soccer game. When I ordered my burger, he let the cat out of the bag when I asked for it cooked medium. He said “they cook precooked so I will see what I can do.” Well, he must have thought that microwaving it for half time and serving it to me lukewarm suffices for “medium”. My son and I ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer. First came my lukewarm burger at lightening speed, then after a fashion, the appetizer…then finally after 15 min, my son’s entree. I guess they can only microwave one thing at a time. TOTAL RIPOFF and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Room was great and location to airport was convenient Remodeling was a problem as far as dining.

It was ok. They were having construction being done. Also, did not like how the bathroom was positioned.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning unit is just a couple of feet away from the bed, so when it's running you hear it and it's blowing directly on you. The hotel is currently under renovation rooms on 5th and 6th floor as well as the lobby. Breakfast is included in the stay, and while I didn't eat, my husband said that it was good. They don't serve lunch at the hotel. At 5:00 the 6 seat bar opens and a very limited menu of food is available. I'm talking 6 items of food. The Ceasar Salad without chicken was good, however the grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough was horrible. It didn't even look grilled and was white and slimy. We sent it back asked that it be actually grilled and it came back and appeared to have been microwaved. We didn't eat it. The shuttle to the airport was great. It runs every half hour.

The room was large and very comfortable. We booked the day before arrival but were not made aware there was construction on going in the dinning area. There is nothing near by to eat on the weekends so stuck eating there. The food was not good at all for what we paid. We noticed a lot of guests ordered food delivered. Breakfast was served in a meeting room on paper products also below Hyatt standards. We had many choices but chose Hyatt Place because it has always been excellent. Until construction is completed I recommend staying else where.

Hair was the culprit! I can handle a stand or two in the shower but pulling back the sheets to climb into bed at 10:00pm (after a long day of trave)l to discover several long black hairs in bed just did us in. My adult daughter ended up sharing the other queen bed with me. Yes I know I could have called housekeeping but it was late and we were exhausted.

Overall service , staff and breakfast was good.

Clean and very quiet. Nice property.

Clean room and ample parking spaces.

The hotel is under renovation, apparently i got the old style room, the air conditioner is working quite right, i need to have hotel to adjust for me
