I was surprised that they wanted to charge me an extra $50 to check in one hour early. I declined.

The property was well taken care of and managed. My only complaint is that they blocked the entrance to the property late at night by closing and locking a gate at the entrance and you had to pay to park in the parking lot via a separate QR code once in the parking lot. Kind of unusual in my experience.

Room was hot when arrived to it. It took an hour for 1 degree to fall. Room was 78 when arrived it didn’t get cool till 5-6 hours later. Paying for parking at a hotel you’re staying at is a first for me. Just for the parking I won’t stay anymore here.

So first thing, the front desk guy named Franco is very amazing and friendly !! He was so accommodating!! We were able to get into our room 1.5 hours early and that was great! We were on the 5th floor and the elevators were super hot inside of them, the halls were hot as well, our room was also hot!!! It took a whole night to get it cooled off. The ac unit just wasn’t blowing well. We were told they were motion censored so that’s why it was most likely hot on arrival, eh it still took way to long to even get the room cooled. The room itself was nice and clean! That night after a full day of walking at fiesta Texas we decided to take a swim, their outside area is very clean! Pool was clean as well, hot water but it’s Texas what do ya expect! After our pool time we were getting one of the kids beds settled with the pull out couch/bed. It didn’t have sheets or a blanket, I had to phone the front desk and they were immediately putting me on hold without even letting me know I was on hold, so I was unsure for a while if my call was even working, Franco was no longer on his shift and it was a woman. Explained I needed a sheet and blanket for the extra day bed, she stated she was sending someone yet they never came. Luckily it wasn’t cold so one of my packed blankets did the trick. Still a bummer. The parking lot is pay to park. Their Starbucks is nice and cute , pricey. Overall it was ok. Again Franco was so nice though! Kinda eh about everything else.

The room. The bottled milk that was sold to us and our grandkids were out of date, expired, and bad when we purchased an expensive breakfast.
-
Good place for families with kids and teens and also close to a lot of stuff.

The a/c unit was ridiculously loud, the bedding smelled like smoke. Was disturbing to sleep there, never again will I go to this hotel.
-
Hidden fees not mentioned before check-in. Person at check in counter could explain why charges were implemented.

The staff was very welcoming as I checked in. The room was very clean, we didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool and outdoor games , but everything looked very nice and well kept
