Element by Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk

It was very nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly but the elevator does work that well

Everything was excellent! From our check-in service to the amenities we really enjoyed our stay. Our friends Usually stay at a nearby hotel and they were really impressed with this one. The valet guys were really pushing people to use the garage next door for $35 a day if you didn't use them. I'm not sure why because we parked on the next street for $10 a day!

A very impolite and rude desk attendant. Literally hung up the phone on us while we were talking, trying to explain a situation that had occurred earlier. We later found out that several had complained about her service at the front desk.

Very nice hotel, within a block of the riverwalk, the room was spacious but beds soft and pillows really thin, the bathroom was great. The breakfast delicious.

The breakfast buffet has delicious options, including proper fresh fruit and the so-delicious French toast special (please don’t remove it from the menu). The rooms were modern and very clean.

The room was not particularly clean. The bed was nicely made and appeared clean but the floor had clearly not been vacuumed as there were food remnants from a prior guest and hair in the bathroom.

The room/bathroom needed to be cleaned better. There was hair in the shower and in the sink.

Breakfast was amazing. Amazing view and location, but parking was zero to none for a fair price. Rooms needed to be cleaned better and touched up, started to look dated.

Bathroom is the major problem. The shower floor is extremely slippery when wet. And there is no bar to grasp onto if you feel like you could fall, which wiuld likely be right thru the glass shower doors. There is no shelf for you to place your foot to shave your legs, and the light in the bathroom shines literally solely over the shower. There is absolutely no light provided at the sink mirror! Finally, be forewarned: Be sure to put your sunglasses on first if you need to visit the pot in the middle of the night, thanks to motion sensor lights in the room and the bathroom you cannot just shut off. Otherwise, had to eat in my room as there was no space to do so in the breakfast area. Doors to the room are HEAVY, not cool when you have to lug heavy bags within. Having gotten the worst of the place out of the way, I will say the front desk personnel were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Price was decent. The location is just a few steps from the beautiful Riverwalk.

Breakfast is as amazing, the staff super lovely and the rooms were amazing.

The property is clean and the location is perfect! The beds were comfortable and the black out curtains provided an excellent night sleep.

Arrived and our rooms wasn't ready and it was a hour after check in, the room wasn't ready til 3 hours after check in. Offered no credit or anything we had 2 rooms booked!

The room was very clean

The quality and hospitality from the Element are top notch. I really can't find any fault other than the location across the street is a tad shady. Which they would fix those buildings up. As for the Element, I like the proximity to the River Walk. There is a good priced parking garaged next block over that is only $10 / night. The breakfast is really good and classy. Nothing feels cheap.
