Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio-Downtown/Market Square

OMG!!! THE BEST! Totally recommend. Even the kitchen lady, she was so kind and let us know it was about time to close kitchen. She was awesome! The front desk people were awesome as well. Great experience, and the rooms were WOW!! Remarkable and soooo comfortable! This is our place 4 ever!!!

Very nice overall.

It was conveniently located to the Alamodome, which is where we were going for the event. There was an H-E-B across the street, which is super convenient if you want snack snacks, or drinks. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and it was clean. Easy place to stay.

Enjoyed everything

For me a clean room is important and it was terrible, a bad odor and the bathroom was dirty. The breakfast was so simple and poor.

Our stay was wonderful!!! We got a beautiful room, then later decided to stay one more night and got a completely new room and wow!! It was the best! Everything was brand new, loved it. I just hope people take care of these rooms. We had a great experience. Everything was close by, walked everyday to riverwalk, drove to zoo and sure plan to stay here again! WONDERFUL!

Ok They don’t give two room together

Breakfast was not very good. Eggs were watery, bacon and sausage was undercooked and the potatoes were horrible.

Terrible management horrible staff no confidence

Second time using this hotel and it’s been a great stay both times.

The Oatmeal The bed was a brick, the breakfast items such as eggs, sausages and potatoes were not kept hot enough. The staff was lukewarm, not necessarily rude just disinterested. Needed a hot tub. Way overpriced. I was let down.

2-The very unfriendly and offensive older lady at checkout in the morning. She was rude, did not want to talk to us and made us feel humiliated. 3- the breakfast seemed like reheated left overs. 4-Probably the worse Hampton I’ve stayed in. 5-The booking.com rating does not match this Hampton. Should be a 5

The size of the room was really good. The breakfast was good and they even had some fruit. The room where you had breakfast was really nicely appointed and it was somewhere you could sit and work afterwards. It was more upscale. Many hotels have a similar standard. It feels like you're sitting at McDonald's. This was more like a higher-end cafe. The staff were extremely friendly and the property has an overall good feel about it The only thing I think the property could improve is the carpet in the room, which I think was more of a rug. It felt like it had a lot of built-up dirt in it

I wish I could have breakfast but unfortunately I was denied from checking in to the hotel because I was told that my reservation was canceled so i drove 4 hrs. to San Antonio Tx not knowing that hotel manager desided to cancelled my reservation with out notice

Everything was perfect.

- Paper plates and cutlery at breakfast. Poor choice and was not value for money.

Location & Staff was friendly. Tiny parking lot, I was on the ground floor& the walls are paper thin(guy next door coughed all night), people walking down the street outside shouting profanities, and the traffic could be heard loudly. Windows had no view outside.

The hotel has great amenities, staff, and rooms layouts. The finishes and furnishings are a bit run down, but, apparently, in the process of being renovated.
