Inn on the Riverwalk

Very charming, unique, and cozy place to stay! This place is a refurbished 3-story house nestled in the bustling city of San Antonio. Being surrounded by the usual multistory hotel buildings makes this place feel even more special. Very much recommend this place for anyone who prioritizes staying and relaxing in the room (as opposed to those who prefer a maxed itinerary outside of the lodging). However, its central location makes it a great option for those who prefer to explore the city as well. Breakfast is homemade by 1 of the 3 people who run the place, which I thought was a very special touch. May be an issue if you are a picky eater, as they take a headcount and serve the same plate to everyone but they may offer some kind of alternative if you ask. Overall, loved staying here and highly recommend!

The owner, Vanessa, and Margaret were courteous, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast options were delicious and they accommodated our son who has food allergies! We enjoyed eating on the balcony while watching the kayakers pass by or eating in the indoor dining area while conversing with the staff. Our room and the building were clean and well stocked. We rate the Inn on the Riverwalk a 20+ out of 10 stars. We will return!

The Inn on the Riverwalk is a very nice property located on a street that dead ends at the riverwalk. There is almost no traffic and the area is nice and safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly prepared and was quite good. Overall, our stay was great.

The Inn has a wonderful staff, they are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a vacation from the main downtown area. Thank you Roland, Margaret and Vanessa.

Great historic property and well located for visiting the River Walk

Cute place. Quiet. Bed is AMAZING. Good location. Loved the wrap around porch. Lots of seating. Easy checking in after hours. Would stay again.

Sweet bb built in early 1900s. Creeky floors add to the charm. Shower was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Great location to everything.

Such a lovely, historic, and peaceful oasis on the busy riverwalk. I highly recommend. Margaret made us a great breakfast the next morning.

The room was very old and it was hard to "climb" onto the bed that was very high up. Bathroom was small and overall, if you like an old house, this was the place for you. However, I didn't think it was good value for how much we paid for the stay.

The room was as described. I loved being on the River Walk, but away from the hustle and bustle. It was within perfect walking distance to the hustle and bustle. Everyone was so nice.

Great property, quiet and conveniently located just North of Cesar Chavez. Walk to all the fun and then retreat to your little balcony overlooking the river walk.
