Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - I-10 West

ABSOLUTELY will NEVER stay here again. The lady at the front desk, owner/manager has no interpersonal customer service skills. She came across as very rude. Upon checking in there are additional fees that aren't posted online (i.e. check in early fee, even if it's an hour, deposit on top of the payment) when this was brought to her attention she said "it's right here," pointing to 2 pieces of paper that was laid on the desk..how does that paper help if you book online? I asked for an itemized receipt, she handed me one not listing the extra fees she added into the price with the calculator. The rooms are NO WHERE near what is advertised online. It appears as if she went to another hotel and took pictures to advertise as their rooms. The blanket was dirty(we pulled it off the bed), the paint is peeling badly in the shower, there was a dirty wipe on side of the toilet, hair was in the towels and they were dingy/dirty and hard(we went to buy towels). There are NO amenities (coffee pot, blow dryer etc) there was bags of trash underneath the tv stand. They say its pet friendly (is why we choose here due to us traveling with our 4 legged kids) theres ABSOLUTELY no where for the dogs to relieve themselves, we walked through another hotel's parking lot to walk them. When we left for the day we would set the air to 65 to keep the kids cool(its very hot there) they would change the thermostat to 79(Both days). Have pics to show and prove everything stated. 10 out 10 DON'T RECOMMEND

Nothing. Absolutely disgusting, roaches as soon as we walked into the room and bedding was stained and dirty. Door looked like it had been kicked in before and would not close properly

Word of advice. If you’re on a budget and choose to do the cheaper option by choosing the smoking rooms even if you don’t smoke. DONT. My husband and I just needed a place to rest our heads and chose the cheaper option. BOY was it a mistake. The smoking room not only had a smell (which was tolerable) but the fridge didn’t work AND we found TWO roaches. One my husband killed. The second one escaped. That was the last straw for me. We went straight to the desk and told them we were not going to be able to stay there. The staff was very apologetic and offered to upgrade us to a non-smoking. Which was NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. The room was so much cleaner, already move in fresh since the ac was already on. Which the other room was not on at all. And we felt nothing when we turned it on. After that I have no complaints. But definitely lesson learned. Always spend the money on the non-smoking. Even though it’s not an excuse for how that room was. I understand. But doesn’t make it okay. Other than that. We had a good experience. The room was nice and comfortable and clean.

Nothing Everything

That was not one thing that I liked about this property or the staff I did not like how filthy the property was and I was attacked by a queen bee in my room.. then harassed by the employee who tried to help me get the bug out of the room.. and then I was shamed for a previous review that I had left for the same property which was only my experience not meant as criticism. This is probably one of my most horrible experiences as a traveler. When the employee went to help me with the bug he literally closed the door behind him and was trying to have small talk conversation I had to ask him to leave more than three times till he finally left.

Nothing at all Everything was unacceptable and unhabitable... I can't believe I gave this place a second chance only to be disappointed and disrespected by staff.
