There were cockroaches in the room, I called to let them know we had already killed four big roaches and they couldn’t change our room due to availability. The shower was clogged and they went to repair it and it remained clogged even after maintenance. They promised a credit and did not specify it had to be used in the hotel, lost half the credit given. I will not be returning. I paid over 1000 for two nights including extra fees. Not worth the money

this was the perfect family stay! 10/10 recommend. the service was top notch

Last minute stay, excellent grounds, customer service, and rooms were quiet and clean. A little confusing to navigate the resort at first but figured it out with a little help. The pools are excellent…open at 7am with exceptional hill country sunrise views…. The slides are geared more towards the younger kiddos (12 and younger) but there are 3 other pools that are incredible (including adults only). There is self parking but you still pay $30. Beautiful resort close to UTSA, Six Flags, and La Cantera Shops.

This was our 5th year for our annual girls trip. We absolutely love it here. Everyone is so kind and happy to help. Resort is spotless. My only complaint was we asked for more towels for the pool area and were told we can only have 1 even though there were 50 folded towels available. If it’s a problem i have a solution.. get bigger towels!! Also, maybe have someone washing them throughout the day.

everything... Nothing to say

Under maintained Grounds & Broken Amenities: The lawns were poorly kept, and major signature water features, specifically the fountains in the Plaza San Saba and across the main pool areas, were broken and non-operational. Trashy Corporate Takeovers: The central Esparza Lawn was entirely booked out for a loud private event that completely destroyed the resort's peaceful atmosphere. Overnight guests were subjected to event attendees walking through main family spaces dressed in Uncle Sam costumes and provocative lady liberty latex mini dresses. This environment was completely inappropriate for a high-end luxury hotel and utterly ruined our family’s annual holiday. No Hot Water: Unbelievably for a luxury resort, our hotel room shower never got hot water. Paying premium rates to endure cold showers is completely unacceptable.Failed Family Programming: La Cantera used to offer fantastic, engaging family events throughout Father's Day weekendlike petting zoos and piñata events that made our 5-hour drive worth it. Instead, Hilton advertised soap and candle-making events that are hardly appeal

The views in the pool were wonderful highly recommend. Also location is a bit on the beaten path making it super relaxing. For the cost of our stay the rooms are nothing special. The beds weren’t that comfortable and the rooms are fairly basic.

Great stay, only complaint is they nickel and dime you for everything.

The one thing we really enjoyed here was the adults only pool. Everything else was a flop. From speaking to the staff this hotel was bought out by corporate year and it’s really gone down hill since. I booked this as a weekend trip to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. I paid for a King balcony room and upon arrival, since booking with Booking.com they placed us in a double queen garden room. I expressed my displeasure and the manager offered a bottle of champagne but nothing else. My husband went to the desk and then expressed professionally this is unacceptable and they then switched us to a king room without a working tv.. to which it took maintenance 3 hours to fix. They did not apologize for the way they previously treated me. The stay itself was mediocre. It’s very evident they are lacking staff everywhere. There are empty glasses everywhere, trash and the grounds are not kept up like previously. The waterfalls are not working properly, staff that are working are chatting and not tending to guests. Upon coming back to the gate we were waived through without asking for our name and security was pretty lazy all around. Nonetheless, it’s obvious that the leadership here is in obvious disarray and after many attempts to address it they failed.

Junior Suite was perfect with the pool view. Always enjoy dining at the hotel, ordering room service or a quick shuttle ride to La Cantera shopping center where you'll find a little bit of everything. It's my go-to hotel anytime I visit San Antonio
