SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio SeaWorld Lackland

I highly recommended this place, especially if you have a big family. Clean rooms and convenient location to Lackland and places to eat. Target is down the road. They have night security and the staff are fast and friendly. I would book this place again.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff is very friendly. All the equipment and services (bathroom, lights, gym and internet) worked well. The only issues I would note was the room doors have a slight edge that allows the hallway lights to shine through and there was a slight smell to our room that we didn’t smell in the hallway. Other than those things, the hotel was fine and served its purpose.

The continental was very good compared to other hotels who offer the breakfast with the stay. The staff was also very helpful with any inquiries that I had.

Breakfast was ok but need more variety’s

The hotel was experiencing a significant ventilation issue that had persisted for some time. The extractor fans in both the shower and the toilet were out of order, leading to an uncomfortable buildup of humidity in the room. As a result, the already warm temperatures felt even more oppressive, making it difficult to relax. The lack of proper air circulation also meant that unpleasant odors from the toilet were not effectively removed, which further contributed to the discomfort of the guests sharing the space. This situation not only affected the atmosphere of the room but also created an embarrassing and inconvenient experience for the entire party.

Cleanliness was ok at best. Took a freezing shower because I didn’t know I needed to let the shower run for 20 minutes prior to showering. Front desk staff are ok… not rude but definitely don’t strive to be better. Lady putting out the food does everything she can to help and very sweet.

unexpected fees, i've never ever payed for parking at any hotel that i've stayed, the room smelled like smoked ,there weren't water i've always been greeted with waters in our room. I will never booked back this place. plus i am a marriott member.

Because I was rushing to a scheduled activity after checking in, I wasn’t able to report the problem immediately. When I returned later that evening, the smell had become even worse. I went to the front desk . The front desk asked whether I had reported the issue earlier, and I explained that I had not because I had to leave right away. The front desk told me that maintenance had already left for the day and would look at it the next morning. I was surprised that no immediate solution was offered, such as moving me to another room. Guests should not have to spend the night in a room with an odor that suggests possible mold. It was uncomfortable, frustrating, and not the level of quality I expected from a Hilton hotel. I hope the hotel takes this issue seriously by inspecting and repairing the rooms before the guests check in. No guest should be placed in a room with conditions like these. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great hotel very clean

No shower vent, mold near bathroom door. Broken bed (a kid definitely jumped on it before) Pull out couch did not retract fully, extra security door latch broken. Checked in with 4 ppl and only got 3 towels. Air conditioning is was not very cold through the night. Pool water was murky

Shower head was not working.

On the first day, the person at the front desk was not very friendly. The shower floor in the room is cracked, making it dangerous to shower there. Also, only one elevator is working in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel. Overall, my experience was very disappointing.

Everything was perfect until it comes to breakfast when the hotel is full. An automatic waffle or pancake maker will help serve guests faster than having a line throughout the lobby just for that one breakfast item

Good breakfast! Good price, family stayed there on a trip to sea world. Room had a musty smell, but overall was a good experience! Would stay again.

Urine on toilet, sink, floor Bed bugs

I was unaware of the $10 parking fee; however, I did see a security guard driving or walking around the front and rear parking areas of the hotel. Due to my stay being on a Holiday weekend, there were quite a few people for breakfast so the eggs were finishing quick and there was a long line for waffles. I did like the noon checkout; however, I had to use the stairs as the elevators were being inspected. The front desk personnel I dealt with were courteous and helpful.

Our stay was fabulous! The front desk ladies were courteous and friendly. Easy check in and check out. The morning breakfast was continental style and offered a variety of options. Our room was one of the family suites and it very comfortable. Our family liked that it had the tub/shower with sink and the toilet with sink in separate rooms. We would stay again.

The only down side was room smelled .the restroom doors wouldn't close accurately. Plus the daily 10 dollar parking .
