Excellent experience

I needed a room just for one night, and Hotel Skye suited my needs perfectly. The price was reasonable compred to other hotels close to the airport. The area is safe, and on a major street, making it easy to find. I had a room with a double-queen bed on the third floor. The room was clean and bright, making me feel energized upon entering my room, with the air keeping the room at a cool 69 degree temp. The staff was friendly and helpful, confirming my reservation on the phone, answering questions about the area, and addressing issues right away (safe was not working, so the desk attendant immediately came to fix it. The elevator had issues but was fixed within the hour). The accommodations were basic: a place to sleep, shower, free ample parking, free wifi, and complimentary breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable with a sitting area and small table, and a place to open luggage. Breakfast was simple but enough to get you through your morning without having to leave the hotel: omelette-like eggs, cereal, toast, English muffins, fruit, coffee. Perks: within short walking distance to local restaurants, shops, and Tanforan shopping mall. They offer shuttle service, but I didn't use it, and their times are limited to certain hours. As long as the price stays reasonable, I would stay here again.

Room felt updated and spacious. Everything was clean, and the towels were large and fluffy. There was a table with 2 chairs plus a bench for luggage. Staff was friendly and helpful. We much appreciated the info about taking the shuttle back to the hotel after dropping off our rental car. The hot/cold/room temp water dispenser was a plus. There was gas (with a good price) and restaurants within walking distance. We missed the morning breakfast since we left early. We were grateful for the 4am airport shuttle; other hotels don’t start that early.

Property very well maintained. Very clean rooms. A little noisy with traffic but died down later in the evening. Can’t comment on breakfast as we left quite early before it started. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a quick stop to sleep before moving on in our trip so it worked well. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.

We needed a room for the night for a 9-hour layover/connecting flight at the SFO airport. This was less than 10 minutes from the airport and offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We did not get to try the free breakfast because we needed to leave by 5 am for our flight, so I cannot comment on that.

The proximity to the airport was very helpful on the last day of our trip, with a very early flight the following morning after driving back from Carmel

I didn’t like the breakfast area. Not comfortable to eat no regular table very small area for a lot of people.

This hotel was perfect for the one night we needed to stay before our early morning flight. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the room was a good size and the staff was friendly and helpful. Free on- site parking was great.

Room was nice

The hotel is clean, but the room I stayed...the toilet seat was loose, the bathtub was clogged and water drained very slow. I guess the stuff should have checked the room before it gets occupied.

Rooms were nice with all the amenities I would expect. Never know with an airport location if noise is an issue - This place was quiet with nice sound proof windows. Continental breakfast was a good variety and well stocked. Def recommend if looking for a hotel near airport.

There were no internet for a day and half and when we asked the front desk to ale up for this since there was no tv or WiFi, he was super rude.

Love staying here. Attentive staff who knows and understands our needs. Owner is a really nice guy who would do as much as possible for his guests. Easy access to airport with free shuttle every hour. Only suggestion I give is the parking spaces within the enclosed area should be limited to smaller or compact cars as many SUV and pickups would selfishly cross over the parking line leaving a tight space for others.

Property was close to the airport, near to several good restaurants/stores. Our room was very clean and had no issues. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good but limited seating. Staff was always pleasant and helpful.
