Villa Montes Hotel

The hotel is Good, but de free parking is on the street. And breakfast is ok, but slim, I felt miss more options of the protein.

Clean room, staff was friendly, breakfast being offered at 6:30am is really Awesome! Only down side is that their hot tub sauna is no longer in use, seems like they use the area for storage.

Free parking and coffee was good thats about it. Front desk was very short with responses and not very friendly with what you should expect being your first greeting.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe. We look toward to staying here again in the future!

Very comfortable room with exceptionally comfortable bed. Secure parking area, nice ammenities. A bit worn around the edges,but clean and conveniently located. Would stay there again.

This place is real nice and pleasant to stay. Our room was very roomy compared the normal hotel stays. The staff were kind and courteous. A definite must stay as we will be coming back on our next stay.

I didn't try the breakfast, but there's an IHOP less than a block away, and lots of restaurants down nearby. A great place to stay when one has an early or late flight at SFO. I left my wedding band by the bathroom sink, and they found it and held it until my return a week later.

We also had a free breakfast of your typical bagels, cereal, waffles and fresh fruit. They also had coffee, juices and lemon water. We had a flight delay and sat in their comfy lobby chairs and watched tv until it was time to leave. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Con: breakfast is too simple. They are mostly carb based food. A little protein (such as peanut butter) would be better

Staff was not friendly but a beautiful place and a great breakfast. Would stay there again.

Ask for a receipt on check-in: "No." Ask for two extra towels: "No." Ask to pay for room in cash (leaving a credit card # for incidentals): "No." Ask for a Keurig pod for coffee: "No." Great hotel if you don't want any hospitality. BTW: The owners were properly blamed for all the "No" responses

The hotel is very well kept and the room was spacious. It is convenient to lots of things in the nearby area. After checking in and going to my room I discovered it was not cleaned yet. The desk attendant apologized profusely and changed me to a different room. The new room was smaller, but ok for 1 night. I asked if I could change to the original, larger room the next day and they made sure it was cleaned first thing so I could move right after breakfast.

Breakfast was ok but same thing everyday, no eggs. Stored our luggage after checkout. Dislike: fitness center had 4 piece of equipment, neither elliptical machine worked and the bike was old, didn’t try row machine. I reported it and the answer was “I know”. Very disappointing. Reported air not working 2 times, Never fixed.

The owners have been upgrading this niche, hotel. We loved the unique light fixtures and the decor. The hotel is clean and staff was friendly. Free parking is definitely a big bonus in the bay area! We visited during 4th of July weekend so we were on the go and didn't use the fitness center. However, the equipment is modern and clean. The carpet is old but my guess is they will update the flooring in the future. The continental breakfast is basic however the hotel is next to an IHOP so you don't have to drive to have a bigger breakfast. And there are a number of restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay at the Montes again.

We liked our stay. The breakfast room was very low crowd that I enjoyed sitting in there eat and relax.

Clean room. Free parking underground. Elevator is a must for ADA costumers. Basic complimentary breakfast. Near to airport but not shuttle.

Really clean and nice hotel and parking. The staff were really nice and helpful. The free breakfast felt a little lacking with just cereal, waffles and toast but not bad overall. I would not recommend a low to the ground car for parking at the hotel. The train station to the Cal Train was great and convenient.

Our stay here was excellent. The customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and understanding. The room was large and cozy. The location was great... approximately 10 mins from SFO airport.
