Room was clean, quiet atmosphere

I arrived at 1pm. There were 2 girls in front of me getting checked in with a clean room got room keys etc. When they got to me they had to check with housekeeping if there was a clean room all of a sudden. I didn’t say anything bc check in is technically now until 3pm but I did find it a little sus. We ubered downtown and some lunch and drinks then came back at 1:57pm. They still were unsure if they had a room for me. This time I did ask and was visibly annoyed, I mean this is almost an hour after my check in time. The girl mumbled that they were booked back to back- like what does that even mean? When she finally “found” a room for me and we finally stepped inside it had a distinct smell to it. Like someone had smoked in it but they tried their best to cover it up with cleaning products as much as possible. We didn’t say anything bc it was hard enough getting a room in the first place and we were going to a concert that night so we had to get ready and go. Overall a disappointing experience, now I know why they only have 3 stars on google.

Good place to stay especially for work related trips

​ While bathing my 2-year-old daughter, the water from the bathtub suddenly turned extremely hot. Fortunately, no serious injury occurred, but this created a dangerous and frightening situation for a toddler. I immediately contacted front desk staff for assistance. Maintenance was unable to fix the issue, and no timely solution was provided. ​Inconvenient Room Relocation: After a long day, at 10:00 PM, with two tired children, we were forced to pack our belongings and move to a room on the complete opposite side of the hotel, causing unnecessary stress and fatigue for my family. ​There was an ongoing puddle of water at the room entrance, ​Despite our reservation clearly stating that there were 4 guests, we were consistently provided with only 2 towels per day, despite my complaints. Following these complaints, a staff member promised to refund the charge for that specific night. To date, this refund has not been processed.

The hotel was fairly clean, beds were comfortable, the common areas were hot and looked outdated. There was also no hot water in the shower . Not worth the cost we paid.

I have $210.27 in charges without an explanation. there was no answer when I called the hotel front office. I will try again in the morning. There is also a $16.00 parking fee on the folio even though I explicitly said I had no car when I checked in.

So close to many good restaurants. Central location for San Diego, Short drive to top attractions. Hotel is very spacious. Clean!

A great place to unstress. Check in was effortless as well was check out. Friendly service and just what we needed.

What upset me the most wasn’t just the condition of the room—it was the lack of help from the staff. We reported the problems hoping someone would assist us or at least show some concern, but no one seemed willing to help. I felt ignored, frustrated, and honestly heartbroken. It was especially upsetting because this was supposed to be a special trip for my spouse and me, and instead of making happy memories, we were left feeling disappointed and overlooked. I expected much better from this hotel. Good customer service can make up for mistakes, but in this case, there was no effort to resolve the issues or make our stay better. We left feeling let down, and it’s sad that our first experience here turned out this way. I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves both the maintenance of the rooms and the way guests are treated, because no guest should have an experience like ours.
