Hotel Point Loma

No kitchen. Hard to communicate with staff

My room was clean and in good working order. My sheets and towels were very fresh and clean, which is super important to me. The room was all clean and nothing looked shabby. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is an affordable room to sleep in near Point Loma. There's a small parking lot at the hotel that is first come, first served, so if you're coming back late, you may have to park in the street but you have only until 8 am then you have to move. My A/C kept the room nice and cool as well as being a white noise. I didn't notice any loud neighbors or street sounds. Overall I would come back to stay again.

Way nicer than I was expecting. Simple , very close to ocean beach ! Walk across the street to fisherman’s landing.. Sam at front desk very nice kind man. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean and restocked all our towels . No complaints! Good value for prime time summer !

Not enough shampoo and no conditioner in the bathroom

Room needed seating, no easy outlets to plug in phones,behind bed. No place to hang clothes.

Property have a convenient location, clean and comfortable room. Electrical receptacles in the walls and table lamps don't hold plugs tight, making problem to use an electronic equipment. Parking are freely accessible for public and actually are street parking spaces.

Very nice experience. All staff was very kind and helpful, from check in to dropping off my keys card.

The bathroom vanity cabinet was falling apart. The particle board it was made of was shredding. Looked gross and unsanitary. If I had not prepaid I would not have stayed. The allowed me to switch rooms the next night. Bigger room but same issue in bathroom.

Room was clean. AC worked fine but was very noisy. The room had a microwave which was great to heat up my coffee ( coffee shop a 3 block walk). Did not have a full kitchen as shown in some photos ( room 104.) Shower was powerful! Overall was fine for my purposes.

The room was clean however the smell of fabuloso was very strong. We had to keep the windows and door open for a while to air out the room. Other wise, great room

Very nice

The room is fine the air-conditioning when you had it on cool made a lot of noise. I couldn’t get the auto on an auto off work so it ran all night really loud. There was no telephone in the room which was a little awkward.. but the room was nice nice area. It’s quiet and the staff was really nice. No problem with anything. We had a nice refrigerator and microwave. The only thing that was weird was the AC and no telephone in the room but the rest of it was really good.

For the high price I paid, the room was extremely small, w/only bed, end tables, dresser, TV, microwave, frig, coffee, but no closet, no desk, & small bathroom with rough-finished vanity. The shower plumbing did not operate well. All the black wooden furniture was quite worn and chipped. New floors & AC unit worked well. Queen bed was very comfortable and clean. The room air was fresh. I was surprised by a $50 refundable deposit charged. They had a small parking lot. Parking costs $10/night. The cable TV worked well, with many channels. The free WiFi was a nice amenity. The bathroom had only very basic amenities- soap, shampoo, and conditioner- no hair dryer or body creams, typical of upmarket hotels. The staff was hard-working, available, helpful & courteous. Their RING security camera welcomes new guests. Buyer beware of all the extra charges and read the hotel ads very carefully.

Great environment

The staff was great, and the room was clean. It was perfect for the couple days I needed to be in Point Loma.There was a little street noise, but nothing earplugs couldn't help with. I would stay here again.

Great room and service A pluss

Enjoyed the stay. Not famcy but it is clean, air works great, and it was very restful. Will stay again for a quick trip to San Diego

Great Point Loma Lovation

The property is a great location. Plenty of things to do nearby & easy to get in and out. Right near the water & plenty of stores / restaurants / bars.
