I stood here for a full week with my family, I was worried because I have two younger daughters and needed a crib for my youngest. The staff were super accommodating and provided a pack and play for us. Over all the staff was super nice and very helpful when we had questions, the area is a great area we walked a lot, and just followed well lit areas which you can see from the preprint is the majority surrounding it. We will book there again, thank you hotel staff for everything and making our stay wonderful!

They have a pepsi fountain machine but it was only on in the morning.

The staff were very nice and accommodating the room was cleaned well.
-
Room & hotel in general were clean and well maintained
-
The facility is clean, the room is spacious, and it’s well located by the pier/Embarcadero. They were also kind enough to hold my luggage as I had a gap between checkout, and when my flight was.
-
Our stay was just okay, great centralized location near the water. Our issue was the bathroom, had to call someone to fix the toilet and the light took forever to turn on. It was annoying. The elevator can definitely be a little bit bigger, it was difficult to maneuver the luggage cart.

My stay was great overall. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was great and filling. Parking is limited so I would suggest checking in earlier to secure a parking spot. When I checked in around 9 pm there were very few parking spots left.

Room was super clean and comfortable despite being a little dated. Do beware that in addition to the cost of your room, the hotel does charge you to park in their parking lot. It was an additional $40 a day to park and I was not aware of this before arriving and it heavily would’ve influenced my decision to stay here. High room rates and expensive parking make this one a skip for me, even given its great location right on the ocean.

The cleaning crew should have a checklist and make sure the rooms are equipped prior to a new check in.

Breakfast and amenities were good. They are a bit under staffed at this location so expect to wait if anything is broken. Our AC was not working so by second day was too hot to bare so we had to call the front. Had to wait for a few attempts to fix it until a room was available. Besides that everything went well.

Not clean rooms
-
I like the breakfast.
-
Having to pay for parking as a registered guest was unacceptable. I can see it for a second car but not the car that brought you. Also, for a “pet friendly” hotel, there was not one doggie poop trash can in sight anyplace. Don’t advertise as pet friendly if you’re not.
-
Very helpful staff and they held my luggage for me since my flight was later in the day.
-
Room was very out dated and in poor shape. Definitely did not get my money’s worth for $600 per night. Our room was on the side of the hotel right next to the train tracks. Didn't get any sleep, we listened to a train for 3 nights in a row. Guest are allowed to smoke outside, so beware the whole outside surrounding the hotel smells like Mary Jane. Couldn’t find an ice maker, and the hotel had no hot tub. Had a nice pool, but lacking a hot tub Usually we love Residence inn but not this visit

First trip to San Diego. Always nervous to choose where to stay for location. The staff was great. Really appreciated some extra help once we got there. The Expedia description had a few errors but the staff helped us get what we were expecting + more. They worked with us to make our whole party happy. Loved the location and that parking was easy and if we wanted we could walk to several things OR easy to get car in and out and get to places we wanted to visit. (would love if it didn't cost extra, but knew it did and that was expected.. but liked that we could park right close and come and go easily) The cleaning staff was very friendly. Maintenance was needed once and they arrived within 5 minutes for an easy fix. Nice to have cookies and cold water available when wanted. The firepit outside was nice to hang out after a long day. The food was decent. Not my favorite, but met expectations and same as expected.

More food at the breakfast

High floor requested with reservation three months in advance. Got second floor. Desk staff implied that regular customers had priority, said she would get her manage to contact me and explain. Never heard a word from the manager or anybody else for the remaining 6 days of our stay. Certainly less than expected from Marriott.

The location is EXTRAORDINARY. Just a few steps from the sea front, where you can have a nice morning walk. The breakfast is good without great expectations The back rooms that we were asigned, are next to the train rails, witch passes by every half hour making a very anoying noise, witch is hard to rest during the night. They should advice a guest about this inconvenience. Must of the electrical outlets are loose, and unusable, witch should be frecuently review. The coffemaker never worked, even when we reported it since the very firs day.

Great location with reasonable walking distance to Little Italy and Pier area. The breakfast was satisfying with great variety . Covered/Gated parking would be better or at least visible cameras and or security due to all the homelessness in the area concern for theft.
