Hampton Inn San Diego-Downtown

Room was okay. The staff was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The location was good and convenient.

Clean, near everything, especially the trolly station. It was a good inexpensive stay for PetCo Park event. $40 parking is a bummer though.

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly during the check in and check out process.

I did not like the breakfast, it should have been better , options were limited and space was too small where the buffet was laid, coffee wasn't refilled and was cold...and it was so crowded and no staff to manage breakfast buffet

Would definitely stay here again.

Conviene location, quiet and clean. Just the pool was full on insects when we went but well that happens

Room was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was nice. Weather was awesome.....Metro train ran behind hotel so you heard that but all good.

Only thing that was a downer was the outlets near the beds were not the best. Plugs were very loose, had to use the outlets near the tv stand area. Other than that, I’d come back and stay again when we’re in town.

The romm was clean. Location is good, next to the seaside and little Italy. Also aeroport is very close. The pool is nice The breakfast was very poor. Next to the hotel is a railway, so during the night it can be noisy. The parking is payable, and its very expensive, 40$ per day, even for the hotel guests

Great stay close to everything. Trains is loud passing by maybe sound prof windows.

Price of parking per night was outrageous. It was $40 a night.

The trolly itself isn't crazy loud, but the bells that play when the lane guards go down woke me up and kept me up. The 4 hours of sleep I got wasn't enough

I liked the beverages in the lobby as well as the hot breakfast. I also liked how they quickly replenished the towels. I did not like that Booking.com misled me to believe that Hampton Inn Downtown San Diego had a shuttle service and microwaves in the rooms.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Replacing the elevator flooring or at least cleaning the floors would make a much better impression.

Fair property for a fair price. Good location, super friendly staff. Would stay again! Huge bonus that the room includes a white noise machine as it covers up the trolley station noise. Great touch.

The rooms and hotel were clean. Good variety of breakfast. Convenient location.
