Location couldn’t be more fun. Mattress was very good. Decoration a bit boring.
-
A great stay for a great price at just under $160 a night in the heart of Little Italy.
-
Location is excellent. Room is not upmarket, but it is certainly adequate. No complaints

We stayed here for three nights and definitely enjoyed it. The room was just a basic size hotel room but it’s all we needed. It was clean and had ac and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of Little Italy and walkable to so many restaurants, the trolley and the waterfront. Not to mention the farmers market is half a block away. Although it is not a “fancy” hotel I would recommend of you want to be in the thick of Little Italy.

Cons: The elevator is a little slow and it could use some more seating for breakfast. There are a couple really nice covered tables just outside the front door, but be sure to be early during a busy weekend.

We only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly and accomodating! The room was small but was clean enough; again, we only stayed one night. We would stay here again if it was just a night or two. The location is very ideal. Overall, really good experience. No complaints!

The bathrooms and sinks weren't in good shape; our bathroom had a smudged mat in it and the finish was coming off of the tub. I understand that wear and tear happens, but the mat could have at least been cleaned or replaced. The desk staff did their best to help with issues. Of course, they are limited in what they can do, but they were nice and attentive. The location of the hotel is right in Little Italy and next to downtown. Walking out of the hotel and around the corner of the building opens onto a vibrant market full of shops and restaurants. My score for this is based on the comfort of the room itself, the price for value, and my experiences in other urban hotels of this type that attempt to be boutique. For example, we stayed at Hotel Lucia in Portland earlier this year, which is the same type of boutique hotel in the city, and it blew this hotel away in terms of comfort, amenities, and cleanliness. You would be better off getting the same quality for cheaper at nearby Motel 6 or just paying a bit extra a night for a superior Little Italy hotel than staying here. Sadly, you should avoid this hotel.

Location is very convenient to access downtown, Coronado and airport.
-
Room was sizeable for the price. Property is outdated but relatively clean. Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was generous.

The location in Little Italy was totally perfect. We chose our room from a selection online and picked one of the larger ones. I would give the staff a 10+ rating if it was available. There is a great Continental breakfast available

2nd floor king bed. the room was directly above an alley way where a bakery coffee shop backed up to it. First evennging about 4am someone in the alley emptied what sounded like a bag of bottles into a dumpster loudly, then every morning about 430 am staff for the bakery would congregate in the alley behind the bakery to coffee and smoke, talking LOUDLY throughout the week hours of the am. This was most discomforting after flying from the east coast and losing the 3 hours time difference. we would not stay in this place again. location

Proximity to Little Italy Drains, faucets smelled like sewer at times. Hot despite a wall AC unit.
-
Location Heard much noise from other rooms. Woke me several times in the night.
-
We also like the hotel location. Everywhere we wanted to go was within easy walking distance.
-
The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy and conveniently located. The Little Italy location was amazing. We will definitely stay again
