Beautiful garden setting. Very close to dining and the water.
-
GREAT location and free parking. Beautiful courtyard
-
The parking garages are a bit tough to maneuver if you have a large vehicle but doable
-
Amazing decor and a secured parking. The beautiful garden was a unique experience and worth staying at this property. Very walkable from Palace of Fine arts and very close to bus stop to travel on either side of the town.
-
Lovely setting with gorgeous flowers and plantings. The rooms were a little tight. Do not bring a large car; the garages are extremely tight.
-
Very nice property with an authentic San Francisco feel.

It is in a very safe area in San Francisco. My daughter and I used Waymo exclusively on this trip. One of the perks of staying at the Marina Motel is being able to park your car for free inside; and usually that parking garage is right underneath your motel room. I would highly recommend this motel to any travelers to San Francisco, be it your very first time in the city or if you have lived or stayed at other places in San Francisco.

The front desk older man with long hair was very nice and helpful! The room was clean, and the kitchen was stocked well with kitchenware, utensils, and dishes. The fridge was very big as well. The courtyard was extremely beautiful and well maintained.
-
Very good location for the Presidio and Palace of Fine Arts, and views of the bridge! Prob the quieter side of San Francisco, we loved it!
-
I stayed in a courtyard/kitchen room, excellent location, very helpful staff (especially when I needed to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout.)

Pretty and stereotypically San Francisco aesthetic motel. Good area and great value
-
Good thing they have parking on site
-
the room was great had a kitchen and a garage
-
I cannot believe I found this place in San Fran just across the Golden Gate. It has beautiful plants everywhere and they are very kind. Parking comes with the room. Rooms were clean and organized. Very nice stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. They have kitchens. If I ever stay in San Fran again this is my place!

The motel is quaint and cute; however, there was no laundry, no continental breakfast, and the parking is super inconvenient. The garages are tiny and if you get a room on the street side, you have to unload and try to safely get your car into the garage with traffic going by. There are no screens on the windows. There is also no AC. It's a cute, little place, but there are so many more convenient options (with parking lots) close by.

Beautiful place to stay.

Driving into this motel felt like you were driving into another country, reminded me of Italy, so beautiful. You are within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping, the Palace of Fine Arts, a little more of a walk to the Golden Gate Bridge but, still walkable. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. I was traveling with my teen granddaughter, we never felt unsafe either in the motel or walking in the neighborhood. Would stay again.
