Signature Inn San Francisco Marina District

Let’s be honest here. This is an old property that is charging appropriate rates. You get what you pay for. The rooms were basically updated and clean. Raoul at the front desk was very nice, helpful and professional. The cleaning staff was also great. Parking is first come first serve and tight quarters but I was able to get a spot whenever I needed one. There is a nice open air deck on the third floor that is nice to hang out in. The hotel is located on Lombard which is a busy commercial street. However, one block behind is Chestnut Street. This was a huge find and changed my overall opinion about the neighborhood. Restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater (2 within blocks of each other), a bookstore and even a GAP. Bottom line: assuming rates are similar at the time, I would absolutely stay there again.

Called morning of check in to see if there was any way we could check in early. We were able to get in at 11am compared to 3pm. The man running the desk said that as soon as we called, he rang housekeeping to clean a room of our type ASAP Felt so safe here. The man running the whole place deserves nothing less than the world. He was so kind and helpful in so so many ways. Such a good bang for your buck. Location is great — so close to the piers. So clean inside. Love!!

The neighbourhood is the best in SF. 10 min walk to the water and the beaches. Restaurants and coffee shops within a 2 min walk. Highly recommend.

The staff was extremely helpful! We did have issues with a nonfunctional outlet in two different rooms, but that would not change my rating. Convenient location, comfortable beds, and clean!

The Staff at this property were amazing. The hotel itself is in an incredible location 1 block away from lots of restaurants, and shops.

Great location

• The hot tub could not be filled or used at all. I have a photo showing the broken hot tub sign.
• The coffee maker was also unusable because there was no coffee filter provided, even though the machine requires one. (Also, I did not want to complain about this since noise was expected, but there was a baby loudly crying for a while. Lots of noise everywhere all night as well). Staff wasn’t available a lot of the time and I only stayed a night and had a flight to catch in the morning. Contacted the hotel the same day i checked out and was denied even a partial refund because I “didn’t complain(?) during the stay” ?? Very confused and disappointed. The woman at the front desk when I first checked in was kind. That’s the only good thing I have to say.

I came in, in a rush at the end of the day. My mom is extremely ill and had to have surgery at UCSF. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to make it or not in at last minute. I decided to make the trip down here. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and understanding. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I slept like a baby… the only thing that I noticed that is worth mentioning as there was no towel hook for the towel next to the shower so I thought that was kind of odd. But the room was clean. It smelt great and I appreciated the quiet night of rest of that. I really needed. I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience. Great location and free parking in SF! Can't lose.

This was a perfect place for a few nights during various activities we were engaged with in the Marina District. All we needed was a good bed and clean shower. This place hit the mark. The only thing they could improve is power washing the walkways to the rooms and replacing the door mats to better reflect the overall clean nature of the rooms themselves.
